I've never had any problems with this bank for the 3 or 4 years I've gone there, but I called and no one answered, I only got the message saying they were busy. I was patient and called 30 minutes later and got the same message. So I scheduled a appointment by phone for them to call me. No one called and this was a very important matter that I needed to have taken care of. I actually went to a different branch and they got me all sorted out, but still, I understand being busy or understaffed, but that is just unacceptable.

Never answer the phone so don't try calling iv called this place over ten times trying to get someone to answer a question and still can't get through

Great Bank to do business with!!I recently tried to open a new checking account with PNC Bank, but the only thing the woman at PNC Bank kept telling me was: "no, we can't do that".So, I drove across the street to Fifth Third Bank, and I am sure glad I did! I met with one of their employees, Hannah, and she kept telling me: "yes, we can do that!" She opened my account, got me a cash advance on my debit card, deposited it into my new checking account, and set up my online banking.Thank you, Hannah, and thank you, Fifth Third Bank. Now I know why my grandfather banked with Fifth Third for all those years!I just wish I could give you 6 stars!

Got off the phone earlier with the corporate office CS Supervisor Candace. Evidently she does not understand how to let me speak to her supervisor. No, scratch that. She refused to transfer me. I would not ask her to explain how to water a lawn. They charge ridiculous fees at various dates. No explanation why it is here, But not all these other times. Never do business with the folks. They are as crooked as a dogs hind leg.

Going on THREE months now trying to get a home equity loan. Have now signed papers TWICE as they said the first time they didn't have all the paperwork included. STILL waiting for them to pay out the money after a week. This is ABSURD. I will NEVER again deal with this bank. I'm done. Meanwhile the work I am borrowing money for is on hold and replacing furnace and adding air conditioning was very important to me with the extreme heat I am suffering daily because of 5th 3rd's incompetence.

I just stopped in to pay my rent and when I went to make the cash deposit to the amount of $1,200 I was asked to give my social security number and where I worked. I find those questions to be highly invasive and unethical. This is the exact reason why I will never do business with Fifth Third Bank.
