The "manager" was two hours late and tried to refuse me service because she was late and told customers to wait. either hire competent staff or helpful ones. she was just ignorant

The time is 345 and not a single soul is in the store doors are locked and lights on but for some reason the lazy workers that work at the store leave 30 minutes at a time four times a day

Good people. Store closed half the time these days tho. Lack of workers, or no AC, or system down. Many issues, varies often. Good staff, but Im sure they're not paid enough, and it shows.

MOTR Writers' Open Mic is still an outstanding, welcoming venue for songwriters, poets, and comedians. I stop in when I'm in Cinci on the right Tues. nights. (And try to make sure it's then.) The food is lovely-- great burgers and such plus vegan and gluten-free options.

The most ghetto location in the area, although they are all ghetto… never open and have rap music blasting in the store as if they are on the block or in the club… just ghetto specimens

I've tried to give this business my patronage MULTIPLE times the past 4 weeks and it's been open maybe twice that I've tried to stop by. Always has a sign on the door saying the "system is down." Are you kidding me? No corporation like Family Dollar would allow a location to have such bad wifi or whatever that their electronic systems crash for a week at a time. What appears to actually be happening is they probably don't have the staff. Because here's the thing. The couple of times I've stopped in they've had one young man working who plays blaring music at his register, an older gentleman with an attitude who looks like he'd rather be anywhere else, and two teenage girls who were standing behind a working register on their phones talking about their love lives instead of helping guests when there's 20 people in line. The only employee I've seen work here that I didn't mention is a middle aged woman who is trying her best and definitely the most pleasant. With that group of "employees" I wouldn't want to work there either. Add on the fact that half their prices aren't correct on the shelves. They have a sign up that they can't keep up with the changing prices to buy items. I doubt that changes in a week though, so during one of the several weeks you're closed update the prices. It's not that difficult.

I have attempted to give this business my patronage MULTIPLE times in the last month. 4 separate times I've gone over and there was a sign saying "Closed System Down" the only time in an entire month that they've been open there was a line of 20 or so people with only one cashier working. There were two girls standing at the other register talking about their love lives and playing on their phones. Only system that seems broken here is lack of work ethic of the "employees " if you even want to give them that title.
