The dollar tree is fine. The guy with tattoos who was working gets 5 stars from me. The management (who is concerning) gets one star.
There was a poor man working alone at the register today with glasses and a tattoo - I didn’t catch his name but he was maintaining a great attitude and keeping calm even though there was TONS of people lining up to be helped. This gentleman was kind and worked really well and was doing his best. He understandably called for help twice. The first time - no one came. Insane. He was clearly drowning and it wasn’t his fault. It was just a busy time.
The second time this gentleman called for help.. a “manager” came up. This manager was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever seen. She was huffing and puffing about how she was “stocking toilet paper and had no help”… had no awareness her person on the front line was drowning and had no wherewithal to help him… the phone rang a few times during this too and honestly - this manager clearly has no idea what she is doing. It was ROUGH. Lol She did nothing but complain about how all the other managers get the good shifts and she always gets screwed, huff and puff, slam items down on the counter and obviously has no idea how to prioritize. It was really a hard thing to watch… I just wanted to jump in and give her direction, cuz she had none….
Look I work at a hospital and I see some real real real stressful situations.. im not trying to be mean but a line full of people trying to buy groceries (who were all patiently waiting btw) and a phone call doesn’t warrant the crazy display of disorganization and chaos that this manager showed …. This manager needs some SERIOUS training on how to prioritize, how to keep calm, how to lead and how to remain professional.

Rude management just listened to her screaming at a woman for putting a yard sale on the corner of the grass lot near the sidewalk. Come on now there is litterally no reason to curse at someone for a sign . My 2 year old nephew doesn't need to walk into a store and hear your employees yelling curse words

We’re in from out of town and finished up some shopping next door at Kroger, had to run in to Dollar Tree for PLASTIC FORKS, for a grad party the next day. We still had 8 minutes to close, but the doors were locked. Three women stood inside at the registers telling me they were closed and when I pointed to the hours on the door and my watch one of the women inside just started screaming at me from inside. Absolutely terrible customer service, I couldn’t even believe it. I’ve never been to a business that locked their doors prior to the closing hours listed on the main door.

I love DT! Cute fall decor, great employees, I went for poster board and got several other items to compliment this fall rainy day. And I always get a balloon for my Grandson for a very reasonable price! Today we got a “GEEEN” balloon ?
