Unfortunately, we had a less than stellar initial experience with Dasco (3 stars at best). However, we made another appointment and this time we met Rodney. I would give 5-stars to RODNEY at the Christ Medical Office Building. He is amazing and if we had dealt with him the whole time this would be a 5-star review. He was so helpful. He took the time to explain our options, how our equipment worked and what we need to do in various situations to make sure the CPAP was as comfortable as possible. The process of getting a CPAP is not fun, nor is having to wear one, but having someone like Rodney help you through everything makes it bearable.I took one star off for Dasco as a whole because their hours are not very accommodating to anyone that works. They’re only available from 9-5p M-F which means we have to use vacation days to get the equipment we need. They also NEVER answer the phone at the Red Bank location. We called 13 times and still never got anyone to answer. We called and left messages for them for two weeks before I finally gave up and called the 800#. They told me they only have one person staffing the Red Bank location so they don’t answer. We had to use the AI simulation to get his CPAP delivered to the house and as a result, it wasn’t the correct type for him. It wasn’t a great experience. Thankfully Rodney was able to help correct this issue and get him into the right equipment.

I have been trying to get my CPAP supplies for the past two months and customer service has been terrible. I can't seem to ever talk to the right person and nobody seems to want to help me get my CPAP supplies. Awful experience.update: they did contact me quickly after this review and resolved the issue

Had exceptional assistance with rep Tevan (sp?). He was extremely polite and patient dealing with older client while quickly performing maintenance check. Was also very impressed with company manager named Neal who personally dropped off canisters to help in a prickly situation. This is a very thoughtful and sincere company.

I thought this company was in business to rent oxygen supplies, pap equipment etc. However for two weeks I’ve been unsuccessful. My pulmonologist has faxed over my sleep study, prescriptions etc. The skilled nursing facility has provided this company the information. No denial on my insurance coverage. I can only describe it as incompetence at best. They don’t return emails. They don’t contact the physicians. Complete waste of time.

I am in the middle because while Rodney was very helpful in educating me and making me feel more confident about using the machine, I was cheated out of several weeks of use because my concerns about my mask type were not heeded. I took the assessment/scan which was supposed to tell them what mask would be best for me, and it was ignored. I then asked if I could do that mask instead of the one I was given and he said to just try this one first because he thought it would be better. I could barely use it at all because I felt so claustrophobic, it was horrible for me sensory-wise, and I went through terrible anxiety thinking the insurance company was going to take away my cpap because I wasn’t able to use the machine for more than 20 minutes at a time. I also wasn’t given the other two mask sizes to try, leaving me stuck with the smallest one which felt way too small.When I eventually got a follow up call from the Customer Service center, the agent was super helpful and helped me get the mask I wanted originally. I received it in the middle of being sick and couldn’t use it for a week, but I just used it for the first time last night and was amazed. I slept with it the whole night. I can’t help but feel cheated because someone else thought they knew better than a calculated assessment/scan of my face and my own knowledge of myself.Overall, the company is great and Rodney’s service itself was great, but his judgment call caused me a great deal of discomfort and anxiety around something that was supposed to be providing me relief.
