This place used to be good I actually usually drive an hour away to visit this location today was bad I found 1 thing it was all granny JCPenney stuff and the lock on the bathroom don’t work someone walked in on me and it was hot in there. I got to the front to check out and all the employees smelled like straight weed! This will be my last visit

3rd time my entire online order has been cancelled with no explanation nor apology. I order from 15 plus different Clothes Mentor stores all over the U.S. practically every month. I have had an occasional item cancelled because it happened to get sold in store prior to it getting shipped which is to be expected, but it was just one item. Notification of these cancellations not only arrived with an explanation but also an apology and a discount code to use towards my next purchase. This location has cancelled my sister’s entire order, my daughter’s and now mine with nothing more than a vague email that claims it was cancelled due to “not having enough stock”. All 3 of us received exact same email. I personally believe either whomever is responsible to keep their website up to date with available items is not keeping it as such or whomever is tasked with packaging and shipping the online orders sends out the emails to avoid having

Update: spoke to the manager who was super kind and assured me this is not a typical experience and said that they would make sure this kind of miscommunication doesn’t continue. I imagine working in retail can be a lot some days and that the employee assumed I was being aggressive, hopefully this is a one off experience.
Real mixed bag of an experience when it comes to the employees. The woman working the front desk who appears to be the manager is wildly passive aggressive, but other employees were incredibly very nice and professional. Depending on the moment I either really enjoyed my experience in the store, or was debating starting an argument for how rudely the manager was speaking to both me and the employee.
For example, I asked to take stock of what they bought so I could take it down from Poshmark. The nicer employee offered to help, the manager saw her helping, assumed I was asking for something else (and never bothered confirming or speaking to either of us), ran over and started lecturing the employee and telling me that “if I had a question I should just ask” in a visibly annoyed tone. I’m not sure the last time I’ve ever felt like I was being scolded like a child by a retail employee for just asking to write down something, but it was kind of wild and unnecessary.
Overall the store is clean, styles are decent, and their buy back was reasonable, but sounds like I’m not the only reviewer who has had a less than enjoyable personal experience.

Very picky on what they purchase and very little selection of plus size clothing.

Cute clothes but I caught the employees today talking bad about my friend while we were shopping. Which is crazy that they had the confidence to talk bad while we were in the store. Very very rude and unprofessional. Complaining about people trying on clothes is wild. Maybe don't work here if you do not like the main point of the job.

They bought almost no clothes from me and the customer service was so freaking rude. Never going back.

Clothes mentor didn’t even look through my clothing, it was still folded the same way I took it in. I was told by Plato’s to take the rest of my clothing from there since I had a lot of express brand clothing. Didn’t even look at it. They also said that the size was too small/large for the store….. it’s size 6-10 jeans and medium and small tops. I don’t recommend coming to this location they’ll just waste your time.
