Extremely good museum, couldn't recommend visiting enough! The art deco architecture is one of the best examples in the country. Be sure to give yourself time to explore, I'd say 3 hours is the minimum amount of time to spend here. They do inexplicably charge for parking though, you'd think with a $22.50 ticket price that'd be included...

One of my favorite places on this planet.

I knew it would be good but had no idea how great this was. 3 full museums in one. Any one of them would stand on their own and be a destination but having all 3 top caliber in one location and in such an iconic setting is just perfect. Absolute must do if you like museums at all, have kids or are interested in Cincinnati history or history in general. Perfect.

Museum is great! Fun place for kids and adults alike. Our favorite is probably the science side of the museum. The caves and space exploration are really neat. So many hands on activities and we always learn something new! Reason for a 4 star is because the parking situation has become a hassle. My digital card will not scan at the exit no matter what I do! Had to pay twice now for parking.

As a Cincinnati native, I of course remember field trips at the Cincinnati Museum Center. It's in a different location physically, but not emotionally.
Fantastic, historic building.

Fabulous museum center in the historic Union Terminal, aka The Hall of Justice, which is still a working train station. The CMC includes the Cincinnati History Museum, Natural History Museum, and Children's Museum/playplace. Tickets are available for each individual museum or all museums. The Holocaust museum and Cincinnati archives are also housed in the same building. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as of July 2024. I recommend getting tickets in advance for special exhibits and Omnimax films. There is something for every age group, including a Rockwood Pottery Graeters Ice Cream shop inside. Don't forget to look up in the center of the building. The hald dome is magnificent, as are the murals.

Bought our tickets to the special exhibition a couple weeks ago. Today was the fourth time we tried to visit the exhibit only to find out that due to timed entries we would have to wait 3 hours before we could go actually see the exhibit, which you are only able to know the timing of once you enter the museum and look at their constantly updating white board at the kiosk for the next available time slot. This was not mentioned in the sale of the tickets and has forced us to miss the exhibit completely because the only available timing conflicted with our prior schedules every single time we tried to go. What a ridiculous system to make you go print your already purchased tickets from the main kiosk only to find out an arbitrary time for attendance set for hours later.

The Pompei exhibit was outstanding. It was extremely crowded, but still enjoyable. The Omnimax was good too, but they could turn the volume down slightly.

This was an absolutely amazing place! There was so much to see and do that we couldn't do it all in one day. There are tunnels and caves to explore, lots of dinosaurs and other amazing creatures, interactive educational exhibits about Cincinnati, a creative interactive area for kids (I can attest it is fun for adults, too!), and so much more.

Just to see the architecture is worth the drive.

There is a variety of things to see here and is perfect for all ages. There are three levels to the museum and lots to explore. My kids' ages vary from 11 to 4, and everyone had so much fun! Children's museums and Museum of Natural history & Science were fun for kids to explore and its made in such a way where you keep going forward and go through the whole side of the museum without missing anything. There are games in different areas that kids can enjoy. The cave they have actually looks and feels real, be ready for lots of stairs. The museum has a few shown they show on OMNIMAX that everyone enjoys. The parking is $6 for no matter how long you stay so 5 mins or 5 hours you pay the same. Overall it's a great place to visit.

I attended the Holocaust Museum 2 days in a row and the Omnimax movie on the blue whales. I was sooo interested in what happened during the Holocaust and the museum touched my heart ( The first visit I cried so hard about how hate manifested in unbelievable actions and the horrific events carried out). The second visit I was inspired by the stories of survival, which left me wanting to do my part in embracing the importance of accepting the whole of humanity, so that discussions about this will keep it from happening again. The staff was absolutely wonderful, guiding, answering questions with care and not rushing me either. I had so much fun too, because there is a lot to see and is displayed so well!! I can't wait to return again to see more!!
