This location is awful! Made reservations online and when I called they told me the wrong information then flat out told us they can't guarantee the vehicle I reserved and we should go somewhere else. I called the main customer service line and they verified the lie and we switched locations.

I fully prepaid my vehicle from 9/13-9/17. When I arrived the vehicle was already rented. My estimated arrival time was 12:00 pm and I arrived at 1:45 pm due to traffic and a medical appointment running a little long. I attempted to call the location at 12:07 pm and there was no answer.In town for chemo and several other appts (and in a bind) I asked if there was anything else. I ended up taking a DIRTY Toyota Camry out of sheer desperation.There was no financial accommodations or price adjustments for a such a huge downgrade (PREPAID SUV vs TOYOTA CAMRY). Not to mention the inconvenience. I feel like since the car was fully prepaid well in advance (and I wouldn't have been refunded had I cancelled) this was totally unacceptable - well beyond an inconvenience.Since I have to travel from FL to Cincinnati 3-4 times a year for medical reasons it is imperative that I use a vendor I can rely on for a clean safe vehicle and if I paid in advance that the vehicle be there - neither which I got. While I liked the gentleman who was working the counter - it isn't enough to offset what occurred and don't feel as if I can trust the BUDGET brand and should probably go back to renting through Hertz or Enterprise.BE ADVISED!

This is our first experience with this location- and I have to say it was smooth, easy and quick. Amar took care of us- and with all the stresses that come before the vacation this was a great start to our road trip!!! Thank you.

Frustrating experience getting the class car that I rented. Was offered a "free upgrade" to a gas hog SUV. When I'm driving over 2,000 miles on a vacation, don't offer me a car that gets 20mpg instead of the full-size class that offers 35mpg. I'm not looking to blow half my budget paying for gas

Booked my reservation 3 days prior for the date I needed it for. Showed up and was told there were no compact cars he only had full size. I said that’s ok, you’ll just give us the full size for the same price right? He says absolutely not. He offered me no solutions to HIS problem. He was rude and unaccommodating. Went to the location down at 9305 Montgomery and received wonderful service. Save yourself the hassle and don’t book at the Hosbrook location!

It has always been pleasure utilizing this location for me. The owner has always treated me with respect and been honest about the rental options available even it’s last minute. I appreciate having a location near where I live. Thanks again for being so kind even as we still operate in a pandemic.

I love this place and the owner. I have rented cars from him for work and personal..for years. He always helps me out even on short notice. I appreciate him and his location. I wouldn't rent from anyone else in Cincinnati!

AWFUL!!!! I received a call from the original Budget location (30 minutes before pickup) stating they had no SUVs available. They asked if I could report to the Kenwood location since they had one on hand. When I arrived, the man behind the counter was rude, unpleasant, and rented me a DIRTY SUV!!! He's the one that drove the car around to me. There was absolutely no way he didn't notice the SUV was FILTHY!!! Rushing to a funeral, I utilized the Lysol wipes and spray I have in my personal SUV and ended up vacuuming the car. During a pandemic you'd think they take cleanliness a bit more serious. On top of that, another customer walked in on the phone with Budget customer service because they weren't even notified ahead of time that their location ran out of vehicles as well.Upon return on Monday, they were closed because of the holiday but I utilized the key drop box. Being that I had issues with being sold a dirty rental, I thought it was a good idea to take a video and pics of me dropping off the key as they appeared to be a janky. Tuesday morning I visited the store just to ensure they received the key and get a receipt. The same rude man ended up charging me for an additional day since they were closed on Monday. I didn't understand this because I turned in the SUV the day prior at 8am, almost 4 days to the minute I rented. Their car sat on their property the entire 24-hours and the key was in their possession (key drop box). I thought this was the point. Ultimately, I reached out to customer service where they refunded the additional day and rightfully so.Needless to say, I will never rent from Budget again. This was horrible and they need to address their team at this location.

When I received the car the windows were down. Once I got on the road the vehicle smelled horrible like the previous person smoked or transported large amounts of Marijuana. I had to spray the car with freshner and body spray for several days to get the smell out so I would not be charged $250 cleaning fee. Very disappointed.However the person working there is always friendly.

I have rented from this location and the same manager since 2008 and I have never had a problem. I abide by the rules and return the car clean and ready to rent. You should always bring back your rental as clean as when you received it. Anything less is just pure laziness and drives the rental costs up. Sometimes I even wax it before returning it but that's just me. I am fortunate to be able to afford to rent a car and lucky that they have one to offer me no matter what the make or model. I don't expect a company or anyone else to bend over backwards to accommodate me. Some people are just spoiled. I have never had a bad experience yet from renting a car. You really have to be having a bad day to complain about a rental car that is basically like new.

Danielle was the best, she went out of her way to take care of my wife for a long one way trip. She was polite and courteous. The way she treated us really took away a lot of the stresses of a long drive. We have rented from other places but after this experience they have our business from now on. Thank you Danielle.
