This establishment provided me with a Chevrolet Impala that had the wrong license plates--registered to a Chrysler Minivan. I discovered this when a Texas police officer pulled me over for a routine license plate check, suspecting the car was stolen. This led to a two-hour delay on the side of the interstate. Despite my attempts to contact the rental location about the issue, they did not respond to my calls. Moreover, I was unfairly charged for fuel, an additional day, and a late fee, all due to the incorrect plates, which was not my fault. I am astonished by the negligence of providing a car with the wrong tags. I vow never to rent from this place again.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Made a reservation over a month ago. Even called ahead 30 minutes before I arrived to confirm everything was settled and they said it was all set. I arrive and they told me they don't have any cars even though the parking lot is full. Seinfeld got it right in that they clearly don't understand what a reservation is. What's the point in making a reservation if they don't hold the car??

What's the point in making a reservation if they don't hold the car?? It wasn't even not having a car that did it, it was the lack of sympathy or helpfulness from the employee. Didn't offer a different type of vehicle, didn't offer to check other locations. She just told us to wait or cancel but we had to call a special number to cancel in order to not get a cancellation fee

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Every person in line in front of me had issues with their rentals. My pre-paid pick up was for 10. At 11:00, I finally got a rental car. This disorganization and lack of clear timelines will ruin your day. I wish I had rented from the airport instead of here.

I had a 10:00 am reservation and no cars were available for me. I had to sit for two hours to get a car that didn’t have smartphone compatibility which forced me to hold my phone as a GPS for hundreds of miles. The high school girls at the New Orleans Budget have zero customer service skills; they asked me and the four people before me to “calm down” instead of validating that it is unacceptable to make your customers make a reservation and then be unable to uphold their end. We weren’t even given discounts for the trouble.

This Budget location is great. Braxton M. was the best and I will forever be grateful for his customer service! He was super understanding and worked with me on the day I returned my rental.The location is also great - it’s right by all the popular New Orleans stuff.

Did the pre check in on my phone. They were conveniently located on canal St. When I got there within 5 min I had the keys. The car was freshly cleaned inside and out. It had a full tank. It was comfortable and nice inside and didn't seem like a cheap model. Didn't smell like smoke or have any dirt inside. Drove very nicely. Was a Toyota Camry. Definitely recommend. Easily booked on Expedia. No drop fees for taking it one way out of state.

The process at both pick up and drop off were stress-free, swift and efficient. At drop-off at San Francisco airport, the staff were friendly, helpful and very quick. No extra charges were added, which is always a relief.Upon recieving the car, it wasn't very clean on the outside, some old food was found on the inside and the gas tank wasn't completely full. The car itself was new, worked well and did the job we needed it do.

I reserved a cargo van online to move a few large items. I entered my credit card and received a confirmation. I arrived at the location and was told they don't have any vans and there are none around the city. Why would you take a reservation you can't honor?? Thanks for wasting my time!

Car was fine, but we had booked for a GPS and when we arrived they didn't have any (and another customer was there who had booked for a child's booster and they didn't have any). They told me they would refund the prepayment for the GPS, and asked for my card - I never received the refund and the receipt I received after returning the car states that the prepayment if non-refundable. So i have no idea what she did with my card. Wasn't a large loss of $ for the GPS, but annoying that she told me she was issuing a refund and effectively lied to me about it.

if i could give them zero stars i would. Rented a van for a bachelorette trip after initial rental plans fell through, when I returned the car I see that even though Anika verbally said one thing, the documents said another and I ended up having to pay almost $200 more than the agreed upon amount. After talking with them and my credit card company, they sent the additional charges to collections and when trying to talk with the company on the phone they were making claims they couldnt justify. Will never rent with budget again.

Dropped car off in perfect condition and filled up less than 4 miles from the airport. No issues raised at drop off yet a further $185.54 was taken from my card. As far as I am concerned this is fraud

After I dropped of my car they sent my an invoice with the agreed upon amount. However my credit card was charged an additional 500+ dollars for various fees that they were never planning to tell me about. They just charge your card and hope you don't notice. Had to call customer service and talk to 4 people before I even figured out what the charges were for. Refueling (had fueled up two blocks away), cleaning fee ($450 for some dog hair), and they didn't apply the rate that I originally agreed on. Certified criminals

After having the worst possible experience on the phone with customer service, I was able to work with Alex the next morning when I dropped our rental off. He took care of every complaint and remedied it with the utmost professionalism. Kudos to Alex, wish more were like ya.

We prepaid the car weeks in advance and planned to pick it up at certain time because we were supposed to get to another city that same day. When we got to the car rental we were told there were no cars available and that there was a 2 hour waiting list. They asked for our phone number to let us know whenever they had something available but never received a single text or call from them. We returned 2 hours later, the place was about to close, and they told us they had a car for us but it wasn’t the same we booked, and that unfortunately it was the only option available. We had to wait around 20 more minutes, and they finally gave us a similar car from our original booking. When we finally received the car, it smelled horribly. We had to buy baking soda and several air fresheners to get rid of the smell and be able to stay inside the car. Halfway on our trip, the engine light started blinking indicating that there was something wrong with the car. It truly has been the worst car rental experience I’ve ever had.
