“A hidden gem in a beautiful community. Perfect little spot to grab a book, head up to Alms and dive right in. Walking inside actually brought me back to a memory, or a vague idea of one. The smell of books, brightly colored and shelved. I didn’t know what I was after, I just felt around until something spoke to me. It was a great experience. I’ll definitely be back.It got me thinking, obviously enough to write this review. But when I was a kid, we stopped supporting these quirky little treasures of our community. We started buying our books at giant megabookstores until Amazon came in and… well… ya know. They kinda went extinct as a result. And when they were gone, we missed them and wanted them back. It’s so nice to see one return and The Bookery is exemplary of why they’re needed. So what if it wasn’t the absolute cheapest price I could have bought it for across the entirety of the internet. I got my money back with the experience.Five stars.”
“The staff here are SO KIND and take their time to recommend books and explain different things. I have recommended this place to so many people because the level of customer service is unmatched.”

726 Main St, Cincinnati“Very good place to find OLD texts in good shape. As a person that collects cookbooks and hosts parties, there was quite a selection of books for me to choose from. The younger staff member was very friendly and helped me move the ladder to the section I wanted. While I can’t speak on much else, I can say that this store is worth a visit if you like roaming the stacks.”
“Nice selection for a small, local bookstore. They had Ursula LeGuin's version of the Tao Te Ching, which is the best in my opinion. Also had Michael Wizer's "Mindfulness: The Art of Living, which was the reason I went there.”
“I'm a resident of NKY, and attend my own local library's sales when I can. But I found found this magical place via Facebook, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since! I can't wait to visit them again once they're back from their well-deserved holiday. I was able to get a box full of books - all in such good condition - for less than $50. You can't get that kind of deal anywhere else! Can't wait to go back! :)”
“If you love books you like all bookstores, but when you can get more books with your book budget, what's not to love. The staff at the Cherry Grove location are fantastic and very helpful.”
“Thank-you to everyone for making such a welcoming environment. Lovely selection of books and gaming. Very knowledgeable staff. Thanks to Scott and Micah for taking the time to answer all my gaming questions.”
“Such a sophisticated selection in an unfortunate location. I’ve driven past it literally hundreds of times without noticing it. Intelligently curated, geared towards well-read adults who prefer new books.”

7757 Five Mile Rd, Cincinnati“I have had fantastic experiences purchasing both online and in-store. We actually went out of our way on a family trip so we could go visit this store in person. The selection is great and the shop is super inviting - Montessori, Waldorf, wooden toys, water toys, open-ended toys… you name it, this store has it. On top of that, the owner of this women-owned small business is kind, friendly, super helpful, and understands the value of toys in a child’s life. I 10/10 recommend this shop!”
“I love going to basically any Half Price Books I can, and this one almost always has something I want. They have a good selection of classical and medieval literature, foreign language material (Latin students will find plenty here), and philosophy.”
“The book was better than described! Fast and prompt shipping coupled with ease of ordering makes my recommendation a no-brainer!Look forward to purchasing more books with this company in the future!”
“The sales women here are the best! They're knowledgeable and extremely helpful in finding the appropriate religious gift for you. I'm always amazed that I walk out with more than I planned to purchase.”

“It was great going back to the bookstore and getting some swag. I graduated in 1990 and promptly left Cincinnati. Just moved back after 30 years away. It was amazing being back on campus. The bookstore is very large, clean and lots of stuff. Purchase a new hat, car decal and some stickers.”
“My favorite record store. The wealth of knowledge of everyone working in the store, the endless selection of music that they have and if they don’t they will help you get it if it’s out there. But I would have to say my favorite part of going there is their patience with my barrage of endless questions and requests for recommendations :) Thank you guys”
