called to hold a dress i was planning to wear to my college graduation; told them i lived 85 miles away and wouldn’t make it up to the location until the weekend and they said it was totally fine, could hold the dress until sunday night. drove over an hour just to find out they have sold the dress and they can’t order it. the quality of customer service has been on the decline for a while, but this truly displays the lack of care they have for their customers.

I loved this store! Today was my 1st time in. The place was immaculate and the prices were higher than I am comfortable with but I found some really good deals on the sale racks! I also loved that it's Christian owned and they were bumping worship music

Cute clothes, beachy, vacationy vibe. Staff were super nice, dressing rooms were large and relaxing. Clothes appear to be quality, very in touch with the times and true to size. The store is BEAUTIFUL!!

It's got an "Anthropology" vibe but a little more high brow. The style leans on rustic chique with a rock flare. Very bright colors and wanting to be trendy.The staff helpful with a personalized touch of writing your name on the dressing room door (clever, but a little too invasive imho).Eclectic offerings (down to a tutu) so you'll probably find something stylish for a venue...probably. Prices reflect "mall-stylish."

I panicked for a moment, thinking this store had replaced Anthropologie. Not that I ever had much luck there either, though I've managed to find a few gifts. Fortunately, it's just something very similar - mostly geared to women, invitingly decorated, & full of products customers are likely to find either enchanting or bizarre. I'd never noticed it before, but it's been here for years. Who knew? Not really my sort of shop, & prices look fairly high, but the same might be said of Brooks Brothers.

I wanted to give associate recognition at one of your Cincinnati, OH locations. Specifically store #163 . Her name was Awa and she was simply amazing. Her warm charisma with a hint of fun was just what I needed the day I went into your store. I was panicked to find outfits for a trip I was going on (less than 24 hours of walking into the store) after a failed attempt with an online order from a different competitor. I already feel uncomfortable in my own skin and trying on outfits in a store anymore become such a daunting tasks. I never look forward to it. Then along came Awa! Not only did she help calm me down, but she made me feel comfortable. Not to mention, her customer service was top notch from start to finish. ON TOP OF THAT, she also recognized me from the last time I went into the store (roughly 5-6 months earlier) but at a different location. Which coincidentally was the first and only other time I've shopped at Alter'd State. This is exactly how you get repeat customers. Its been almost a month since this interaction happened. I just ran across the receipt, while cleaning out my purse, and the entire event replayed in my head. I meant to write a comment on her much sooner. I hope this reaches her. She made my day

Beautiful, unique, fun, purposeful new fav. store !!! Located in the Kenwood mall!!! I absolutely love everything about this store. It's like a fun, funky, rocker chick vibe! With definite glam touch and hippie-ish ! ?❤️???✨?️?✌️

I love the clothing this store carries, but I had a disappointing experience. I went into the store looking for their pink flowered bell bottoms (which I had been wanting for about a month), and luckily I found them! Although, this is how it went…I asked the employees if they had any left and they told me that they had only one pair left in a medium. I was disappointed and thanked them, but it wasn’t my size. After they walked away I found an extra small very obviously right next to the ones they had showed me. When I checked out, one of the girls asked if the medium had worked for me. I said no, and that I actually found an extra small. Her entire demeanor changed and she sarcastically said “Oh, I must’ve been blind.”Long story short, she did not want me to buy those pants and lied about having an extra small.
