I’m so glad I purchased my vehicle from JR Ackley at Herrnstein Hyundai. I had been searching for months for the exact make, model, style, and color, and JR called me the day that one came on the lot. I drove over that night to see it, and he stayed after hours to discuss the vehicle with me. I then came back the next day to purchase it. He has great communication, and is looking to get you in the car YOU want. Everybody at Herrnstein was extremely friendly and welcoming. I wish I lived closer to the dealership, because I would love to go there for service appointments too. Even after purchasing my vehicle, JR has responded quickly to any “new buyer” questions I have had. Thank you, Herrnstein and JR for exceptional service!

He searched for me the best rates and tried hard to stick to a good time frame for the transaction. All the employees are friendly, the dealership has a wide range of options available and they make it easy to build trust with them. Recommend and would buy from again!

Great guy that kept me informed of my special order. Clinton helped me oder a very limited edition Jeep Wrangler 392. Even though I was many states away thr process was as smooth and painless. From the interactions I’ve had, everyone has been great.

He went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted. He wasn’t pushing for any car and was able to work around our schedule to make everything a great experience. He was able to get us what we wanted at the best price and earliest availability It was outstanding! As long as Clinton is around I’m going to continue to use him as my car dealer!

I'm very happy with my new car purchase and the process. I found the car I was fairly sure I wanted via the website but I live a about two hours away. I worked with Tyler over the phone to negotiate the price as well as the value of my trade in. When I mentioned that I wasn’t available to go to the dealership until the next day Tyler offered to bring the car to me for a test drive and if I wasn’t happy then he would drive it back.Tyler arrived in the evening for my test drive and inspection and after that I was comfortable agreeing to the deal. We did the paper work at my house and he took my trade in back with him. Tyler was very friendly and professional and even though it was in the evening as he demonstrated the car I was buying I never felt rushed. I've purchased many cars over the years but this was my first time buying a car without going to the actual dealership. I appreciate how smooth the deal went as well as how Tyler and the dealership not only seemed to value my business but also my time.

This is seriously the absolute best place to purchase a car from in the state of Ohio. And possibly even the surrounding states. Sam is always nice and very professional. Super easy to work with and very knowledgeable with their inventory. While browsing the lot, he made several, very spot on recommendations when it came to light that the vehicle, I had come to look at had been sold only just an hour before I arrived. He was very attentive to what I was looking for in a vehicle and his recommendations could not have been more accurate to my tastes. The G.M., Neal, always works hard to find the best deal possible for the vehicle you want. I actually ended up taking home a car I liked even more than the original one that I came to look at in the first place. All around, a super nice, respectful, and professional staff. You couldn't ask for a better car buying experience than from the crew at Herrnstein Hyundai.

He works like a maniac. Makes you feel like you are important as a customer. Second time buying from him and I doubt it will be the last. Helped get it closer to our budget and gave us advice to help us make the best decision we could Dealership was great. Financing experience was frustrating because of some credit unions. But the vehicle buying was nice. Definitely a nice shop also. Very comfortable environment for waiting when need be.

2023 Santa Fe Hybrid LimitedDrove three and a half hours each way to purchase from Herrnstein. Local scumbag dealerships in SE Michigan seem to think $3000 to $5,000 "market adjustments" are the new way of life, especially on hybrids... So I had to go 230 miles to not perpetuate that silliness. Not only did they have what I was looking for in the exact same color and trim that I wanted, it was $2,000 UNDER MSRP!!!I absolutely do not regret my decision. The buying experience was pleasant and 90% done online. Dealership was clean and modern, sales people did not waste my time.I left a flashlight and knife in my trade-in, and of course, didn't realize it till I had gotten home. I let the dealership know and they were kind enough to mail me my items back!Wife loves her Santa Fe and would totally make the drive again to do business with a dealer who isn't a greedy scumbag like the ones by me!

It has everything I was looking for such as a great sound system and navigation built in. Clinton was awesome to work with and kept a great smile on his face throughout the process. This dealership has really gone downhill of the last few years. If you do buy from them do not fall for their extended warranty service contracts. They will cause your payment to soar, and if anything is to ever happen to the vehicle good luck with them fixing it! Almost everything covered under your manufacturers warranty is already covered so buying extended ones is just a scam for the dealerships to profit. Every time I have went to them for anything it takes 2 or 3 times for them to actually fix it even when i am standing their with the solution. Bought my last vehicle there in December and I will never go there again!They will try to keep you coming back so they can keep taking your money!

Best car buying experience I have ever had. Staff is super professional, friendly atmosphere and all about Customer Service. I was finished with the purchase so quickly it didn't feel like a bought a car, no all day haggling or waiting forever for paperwork, etc. Just a very nice experience and well worth the 1.5hr drive! Got a great deal on a 2019 Veloster!!

Came from the Cincinnati area to look at a Hyundai Santa Cruz. The sales staff was readily available but did not try any high pressure sales tactics. Everyone involved was factual and honest. There were negotiations that I believed favored me and I was pleased with the deal we received. Tyler was our sales person. He knew his stuff and did a great job for us. The manager I spoke with (Neal) also worked with me and seemed to be a likeable person. The finance department (Jamie) had all of the paperwork prepared and explained everything so we knew what we were signing. She appeared organized and was friendly. We were never pressured. We did not have to endure the sales process turning into a time share presentation for extended warranties and maintenance plans. We were not blindsided with any hidden costs. I appreciate the good deal and a great buying experience. I am hoping I finally found a dealership where I can be a repeat customer.
