Terrible service. Don’t be surprised if they close up shop in the middle of the day on a Friday. I would not suggest going out of your way to play here.

Called the club house legit 25 times with no answer to book a Tee Time. Their website isn't working either. Bad customer service

Last time I came here (96), the course was very young but still tough and beautiful. It had a double wide trailer for a club house. Now it has a beautiful clubhouse and the course is still tough as can be. Greens were fast but did hold. Rough was lush but not overbearing. Most of the bunkers were in great shape and sand was still good quality bunker sand. I did notice that some of the fairway bunkers were unkept, I'm guessing either letting them grow over or turning them into waste bunkers? There were a ton of trees that were down from the recent tornado that went through. This did open up a couple of the holes. Emphasis is still set on a good drive to score well here, usually not a lot of trouble on drives. Greens well guarded, large, and fast. Once we teed off we never saw another group of golfers until we were done. Pete would be very happy with the state of the course today. I do miss all the railroad ties that once were all over the course. The only negative thing I can say about my visit, was that there was an elderly gentleman in the clubhouse where we checked in and he was not very friendly to our group. I've raved to my friends for years about this course, and the first impression they got was of this unhappy person treating us like we were a bother, however the rest of the staff we came across was fantastic and we all had a great day! Totally recommend this to all golfers. Just an fyi this is not an easy course that you can over power. Thanks for giving us a great day of golf!

Played this course a lot when it was TRW . I’m a senior now and a decent golfer . Played today . Was shocked by lack of cars in lot and lack of golfers on course . Hey Fowler’s , senior players are your bread and butter during the week but I’m guessing you’ve lost them by having your forward tee boxes at 5800- 5900 yds . The course has plenty of game without the three shot par fours , monster fives and threes . Put a tee box at 5300-5500 and win seniors back . Course is a real beauty . Hate to lose it

A one star review as after having a league reservation for 16 golfers for several months for an upcoming outing, they cancelled on us a couple of weeks out, leaving a hole on our schedule. And this is not the first time I've been in a league and have had Fowler's cancel the reservation on leagues. What is going on there?

Layout is great and challenging. Tough course. Very scenic.
Greens were just OK, slower than I would have expected.
Tee boxes need leveled, its hard to find a flat lie with the driver which drives me crazy.
Bunkers are absolute garbage, nearly unplayable out of, rock hard. They all need fresh sand and a facelift. We ended up playing free drop out of bunkers because its like hitting off of hard baseball infield. Its a real shame too, because the bunkering is a big part of this Pete Dye design, and there are a lot of them.
