I used to really love this drug mart. But in the past few years they've changed everything around made a few things better but most things worse. The new checkout system they put installed in the past couple of months is absolutely terrible. I used to tap my card press okay and the transaction was.Now you have to hit 5 or 6 selections just to check out I hate it. Just that has caused me to go to Dollar general across the Street to buy anything that Dollar general has that I used to get at drug Mart.

The only pharmacy around that actually helped me figure out my prescriptions with insurance ect. That was a year ago and they still continue to go above and beyond!

Even after moving 25 minutes from this drugmart I still get my prescriptions sent here. The pharmacy staff is awesome and always willing to help out and they never miss a beat.

I had a great experience here. My dad was being released from the hospital with a ton of meds and supplies needed. They helped me with everything! Including showing me way to get his wheelchair covered under Medicare. Even though that would mean a different supplier. I was going to use them once because I knew they had the over the counter stuff as well, but after my experience, I transferred his other meds over. I have made them my dad pharmacy.

Drug Mart please make sure you hire competent pharmacists who know how to read, write and understand which fields insurance information belongs. Especially in high stress times, it's not helpful to have uneducated people handing over prescriptions.

Terribly upsetting experience at Drug Mart, today. The staff was not practicing safe distance, one member walked down an aisle toward me coughing without covering her mouth.Several people were trapped in the vestibule as the outside door was open but inside was locked. When a gentleman opened the inside door he expected us to walk past within inches of him.People crowded against each other at the checkout line. The young cashier was not concerned with the safe distancing even after I told people to stay 6 -8 feet away.Left pretty shaken

Vernon the pharmacist personally helped resolve an issue I had with pre-authorization with insurance. I appreciate this fact and want to continue doing business with him but the negative attitude from the young lady at the drop off and pickup window is growing tiresome. ** Update.. I have not seen the young lady who was unpleasant in the last few months, the people working the window now are always pleasant and personable 😊

The most frustrating experience ever! I fell at work and broke my knee and wrist. I was desperately in need of a wheelchair and raised toilet seat. We contacted Justine who handles that department at the Chesterland store, and she told us what paperwork she needed to release the items. We called the doctor's office and had them fax everything. We called the store back to make sure they had everything they needed. We were told yes, but it would take 24 hours to go through corporate. We waited and called back. Then we were told it had to be approved by workman's comp. It was approved, but now we are told we have to wait for the appeals process time to be lifted. ( 2 more weeks ) And, to top it off, Justine said she did not get one of the forms from the doctor, even though 3 weeks ago she said she had everything. I am writing this to save someone else the agony of dealing with them, especially during an already horrible time after an accident with painful injuries. Go elsewhere to get help. The entire process and experience has been beyond ridiculous. If their concern is getting paid, I could have secured with a credit card, or my own private insurance. No one offered any suggestions, including the manager. They never called me back to check the progress either. If ALL of their requirements are EVER FINALLY satisified, it will be over 5 weeks since the initial contact with them!

This pharmacy used to run without a hitch. VERN, JEAN & MELISSA, they could provide you with all needed information*****. As of yesterday, my opinion has changed dramatically! Transferred my Mothers meds from discount drug mart Mentor to Chesterland. Should have been an easy transfer however since the above people are no longer employed there or Vern being out on sick leave the transfer was ridiculous. Never received a call about the upcoming synchronized meds for November, I called they were apparently filled and returned to stock because they were not picked up. I called at 12:03, was told they would be done in an hour, arrived at 3:15, they were not done so we waited. Now only to find after arriving home that we are missing 3 refills and no one said a word, plus received medication that my mother no longer takes as of September, $20.36. The pharmacist told me they dont have a way to inform customers that refills were missing. Vern always indicated this by a note on.the bag or personally would tell me. I know you cannot return medications but when the mistake is that of the pharmacist why should my Mom be out $20.36. So they are not liable for their actions. I suggested they be returned as a loss, (dropped on the floor), the pharmacist told me they PICK THEM UP AND PUT THEM INTO THE BOTTLE!!! REALLY. Good to know, I will never use this establishment again, Vern I'm sorry but the new people have no regard for the customer. I intend in calling corporate in the morning, this is not acceptable customer service in my eyes.

Nice to find this store before heading out to rural Geauga County. Clean and friendly. Lots of fun items you don't find anywhere else. My visit was before Christmas. I found toys, decorations, unusual gifts and bags of walnuts and coffee. Lots of Ohio-made found items. In the future, wanting to buy Ohio products, I'll stop here first. Plenty of checkouts. Lots of parking in this shopping center.
