Tim was a very friendly guy, very informative. However, I made the mistake of not asking for a quote before taking my vehicle there. I scheduled the appointment and brought my vehicle there, I called asking what the ticket would be, and the lady at the desk told me she didn't know, she'd call me back and never did. The next day comes and my vehicle is done. I brought in my own Brakes and Rotors to be done, I also needed my crankshaft sensor replaced which was located right under the engine, very accessible with a lift. The job was probably 45 minutes. When I get the bill I get charged 300$ for everything.. He charged me double for the crankshaft sensor than listed at Advance Auto. It's common for garages to do this, but to me, it's not very honest. The vehicle is still missing as well, so it never fixed my issue, unfortunately. (I did scan it before I sent it to him and it did say the Crankshaft sensor bank 1 was not working correctly). Good guy, but not pleased with the cost and dishonesty in the price of the part.

Tom is great at fixing what he can to keep your car running, and he's very fair on price. Plus, if it's too big of a project, he's honest and doesn't waste your time. So glad to have an honest, quality mechanic in Chatfield!
