The Labor and Delivery department is amazing here. The nurses go above and beyond. Thank you, Gianna and Mary! They truly care about their patients. Grateful to have had my baby at Geauga with the care of Dr. Usis and Dr. Hartup.

The staff at UH Geauga is great. During my mom's discharge from hospital, we noticed her cell phone was missing. The nursing staff of 1 south looked all around the areas she was in. No luck. They brought me to the UH Geauga Police hoping someone had turned it in, since they are in ER area and her phone was pinging in that area. Still no luck. Officers Mitch Gregor and Jamie Hofman went on a search for it in basement areas under ER room. Still no luck. After I had left, they continued to look (when time allowed), a short while later I received a call from them stating that they had located the phone. They found it in a large laundry hamper. They went above and beyond to give my family peace of mind. We can't thank them enough for what they did, but I will try THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Dr carrol has no knowledge of what happens outside the initial visit. Was told I could walk in anywhere for imaging, wasnt the case I had to drive to three different locations to finally be squeezed in, also told me to just call for culture results only to find out I have to drive across the earth for that too.

First time at this ER. Mary Beth (nurse) was the best part of the visit. She was friendly, warm, & comforting when I was in the triage area. Everything else was downhill from there. Staff made me feel like I wasting my time. I came at the request of my endocrinologist. I received no blanket, no IV fluids…just a bunch of questions that led to no answers. I didn’t feel like I was taken seriously even though I fully explained my medical background & symptoms. I wouldn’t waste my time or money here again.

I was transported here from Ahuja seven days ago. I was confused as to why I was sent here, for bilateral hand surgery, rather than the main campus downtown. The orthopedic hand specialist, Dr. Jonathan Macknin, explained that by coming out here he could get me into the OR the very next day, rather than waiting several days to get me onto the schedule.I was given a room of my own, it was extremely clean and comfortable, and had a nurse and nurse’s aide assigned to make sure that I had everything I needed. As promised, Dr. Macknin operated on my hands the very next day, and did what appears to be a fantastic job.I have been here one week now, and I am completely impressed with the quality of care and attention, professionalism, and courtesy that I have received. I have had numerous stays in the hospital in my lifetime, but none of them felt anything like this. People were so warm and caring, it felt as if I was being cared for by family.I would like to take a moment and recognize some of the people who helped care for me this week. I am sure I have missed some names, but that does not change my appreciation for their exceptional work ethic. My sincerest thanks to the nurses who have babysat me this week, including, but not limited to: Bob, Stacey, Monica, Cassandra, Grace, Rochelle, Crystal, Cara, Arin, Mel, and Bonnie. My sincerest thanks to the nurses aids who have been tremendous help all week, including, but not limited to: Liz, Elle, Robyn, Suzan, Shania, Nicole, and Marsha.Karen, the patient mobility person on the floor who was not even assigned to me, stopped in daily to check on me and see if I needed anything. I am forever grateful. In addition to Dr. Macknin, I would like to also recognize Dr. Akeson, Dr. Halawa, Dr. Patel, Dr. O’Brien, and Dr. Shuster for their most excellent care, especially Dr. Akeson. The occupational therapist who stopped by and tortured me were efficient and professional, and it was clear that they had my full recovery as their top priority.Laura, the patient experience manager, has been extremely helpful and interested in ensuring that everything is going in a way that best meet my needs. The ladies at the nursing station have been super nice and helpful, and I appreciate them very much.Sherri and Amy have done an excellent job keeping this wing of the hospital sparkling clean and nice.Leon has been really patient when taking my food orders, as well as others who answer the phone down and room service.I never would’ve believed the quality of food, or the selection of items especially on the extended-stay menu, could be so amazing.Annette, Joy, and Jeff have been so very kind and bringing food each day, along with the others who have taken on this task as well. I don’t know if I could’ve lasted a week without you guys. Thank you for everything.I never realized I had such a big “family“ until I spent the week here. Thank you again to everybody for all of your hard work and all of your care. I could never do what you do, but I absolutely appreciate you all.

Place needs to be shut down. Emergency doctors do not know how to do their job, or they just don’t care. 0/10. Do not go here. You will not get help or answers. I know of multiple people & family members that have literally passed away because of the horrible “care” they received.

Not allowed to give eta wait times over phone. I'm in the middle of 3 and trying to get to the hospital with the least wait. Idiocracy at its finest

Used to be an excellent ED department; well staffed, efficient. Came in yesterday at 7pm, still sitting here at 3pm, MD visited once, social worker visited once in that time period. Understaffed, lack of available resources for mental health emergencies. Nursing staff doing the best they can with limitations.

So grateful and happy to have had my baby there. Best team, I was blessed to have my baby delivered by Dr Mullen, best OBGYN. Dr Mullen is very patient, kind and was beyond amazing during my labor. I was also very lucky to have had Mindy as my Labor and Delivery nurse, super professional, patient and kind.I am forever grateful for that experience

I had the absolute worst experience ever at a doctors office with Dr. Kristie Tincher. After moving here from out of state, I chose her as my doctor. I waited a month for my appointment. She was incredibly passive aggressive & extremely judgmental of me the second I walked in the door. I’m in dire need of my meds refilled that I’ve been on my entire life. She refused to refill them, even when providing her my medical records indicating my diagnoses & prescriptions. I now have to wait until I can find a new doctor to receive my medications. Avoid Dr Kristie Tincher! The rest of the staff & nurse was so nice though.
