We sent our year and half old “covid” dog Schobert for overnight boot camp. He was horrible on walks with lunging and pulling, he was insecure around other dogs and had bad social behavior in the house. What we came home with was a dog who walks beautifully on leash has house manners, can sit in place while we are busy or eating and just a better disposition. While he still gets his zoomies, we are able to handle them and use his training daily! Thank you Dru, it was 100% worth every penny!

I don’t think there are enough words to describe how grateful I am for Dru and her training program. My fur baby did the overnight boot camp and cane home a different dog. She’s still quirky and weird as ever which I love about her, but I’m FINALLY able to walk her with ease, and without worry that she’s going to drag me if she sees another person or any type of animal. She listens to commands swiftly even without treats and stays in her place for long periods when I’m on work calls or eating food. Seriously changed my life with autumn, I cannot thank you enough. Best money I’ve spent!

We brought our Westie to Dru for day boot camp and it was such a positive experience for our entire family. Dru involved our children in training lessons and made tremendous progress with our timid dog. Our dog was so excited to see Dru every day and I realized how many bad habits we had allowed our dog to develop in our home. Training was just as much of a learning experience for our family as it was for our dog and I am so grateful to Dru for giving us the skills to improve our dogs life and our role as her owners. Dru provided us with resources for continued learning for our dog and our family and we look forward to continuing our relationship with her.

We couldn’t be happier with the skills Dru gave our puppy, Kunu, and us. Her methods work smashingly well, and though our mini pit mutt never grew into the full size guy we thought he’d be when we signed him up for boot camp, we’re so glad we invested the resources in Out of the Doghouse. We now have full confidence and trust in our relationship, and can do so many fun, freeing things with Kunu as a result.

Dru was amazing with her ability to train Major, our German Shepherd rescue. She taught us how to be great teachers along with showing us what works. Dru also took the time to answer questions, to ease our anxiety and to teach patience so that Major could understand what we were asking of him. Her calm and patient demeanor truly works. I would recommend her 100% for dog training. She truly has a gift, but allowed us to see with consistency, love and patience, that we also can keep the good behaviors going. Thank you Dru!

My experience with Out of the Doghouse was beyond my expectations. We had a very defiant, strong minded yellow lab with extreme play biting issues. Dru helped us get her to understand we were in charge not her. After the first few days of Day boot camp we noticed a huge difference, after one week she was a totally different dog. My wife and I sent our 9 month old Beabull puppy Toby to the overnight boot camp at Out of the DogHouse. From the beginning Dru was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is very nice, extremely professional, very knowledgeable and does a fantastic job of explaining everything. Our little 3lb Gizmo spent 10 days at boot camp with Dru and we couldn't be happier! Gizmo is starting his career as a Therapy dog for Dental Patients and his first day back to work after boot camp was amazing. He is much calmer and so willing to work at the new skills he has learned. The love and passion Dru has for training is seen in tbe bond and trusting relationship she has built with Gizmo. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Dru and would recommend her and Out of the Doghouse to anyone ttat wants to see amazing results with their dog.
