I have always found everyone very helpful, accommodating, and kind at the Chardon Ohio branch. Glad they are my hometown branch!

They once treated me great. Now it's like they don't care how they treat me. I thought they were supposed to give 156% or however the commercial goes. The 5th 3rd branch in Chardon told me I could not do a certain thing. I went to the branch in Concord and they said NO Problem, we can get that for you !! Are they just lazy in Chardon ? The girls at Huntington treat me so good I take them gift cards. That's why I do most of my banking there now.

Bad front desk customer services. I went there before. Nobody let me know how long I need to wait. Also very bad telephone customer service too. I called the bank customer service on Saturday 10:30am. I was told by machines that the representatives are busy. They will call me after 4-7 minutes. I waited for 30min, nobody called me back. I called back again. One representative answered that she can't resolve this problem. She will transfer me to another experienced expert. Then I found I was transferred to main menu and I needed to go through all process again. After trying calling again, I found nobody answered me and it became silent. I hanged up and tried to call again. I was told the customer office is closed now. Now it is 12 pm. I spent 1 hour and thirty minutes without any result.

I have always enjoyed banking at the Chardon Fifth Third. Now in fairness, I've never done anything beyond work with the tellers at Chardon - all of our Fifth Third mortgages were arranged before we moved to town. I usually to deposit checks or withdraw cash twice a month, and I find the tellers to be efficient & courteous.

This is the worst bank! Extremely unprofessional. We activated a new debit card because of a chip in the card. I called the bank when I activated it because we received two. I activated the card that they advised me to. Fast forward to two weeks later, while on vacation we received an email that our card would be deactivated. We quickly called the bank and they advised us that it was the old card that was being deactivated and we should not worry. Well low and behold, the day after they said it would be deactivated we tried to use it and it was declined. This time we called our local branch. They refused to help me because I didn't have the card with my name on it. We have a joint checking account and are both clearly listed on the account. But they refused to do anything about it. Now we are in Florida (from Ohio) and have no means to pay for anything. Will be changing banks promptly when we return home.

Managers very rude. They treat tellers like crap in front of customers. Extremely slow transactions. (10 minutes to cash a check.) Please bank elsewhere.

Poorly managed. Branch manager rude, snobby and all around generally mean to customers AND her staff. Personally witnessed a tounge-lashing toward a staff member. If you do not have A LOT of money in this bank, you will be poorly treated by upper management. Other staff friendly despite day to day mistreatment.
