Fabulous food & great atmosphere. Bode, Ryan and the rest of the staff made our night amazing! We will definitely be back very soon! The squash salad, beef stroganoff, and the veal schnitzel we're all fantastic!

Ate in the restaurant. Food was fabulous! I had veal schnitzel and my husband had the duck. We also had French Onion soup. Would definitely recommend. The wait staff, Ryan, was very personable and friendly.

Specifically the restaurant.
My parents have eaten there. My whole life prices are doubling and tripling. Size of food is getting smaller and smaller. It's dark in there. They're taking advantage of people.Eighty dollars for 2 people to eat is not good

The workers are very friendliest and professional . Very welcoming and warm. I don’t like that, they don’t serve bread with appetizers or while you’re waiting for appetizers. Now you have to purchase a bread board. A few slices with appetizers is no longer an option. Please bring that back.

I stayed for a night this past week and was highly impressed! The room was a great size, the bed was comfortable, there was bottled water in the fridge, the Jacuzzi tub was a really nice touch, the balcony was incredibly peaceful with the view of the pond. Though I didn't use it, I also loved that it came with a fireplace inside the room. I'd absolutely come stay here again! I've already told a handful of people about how nice it is! ?

My entire family was coming from every coast for a local wedding and we were all extremely happy with the Lodge at Bass Lake!!! The staff was amazingly helpful and welcoming and the food was spot on. The bar staff made our experience and we are all looking forward to the next Ohio wedding to do a Lodge at Bass Lake take over again! If you have little ones the first floor rooms are perfect because you hang out back with family while they get their zzzzzs. Extremely close to Downtown Chardon and easy 40 minutes into downtown Cleveland. Can not speak highly enough of the kindness and welcoming attitude of the staff!
Food and drinks: Ryan the bartender/manager was beyond kind, positive and accommodating! Food prices were great (east coasters here) and we loved the variety on the menu. Specials were spot on!
Noteworthy details: Rooms were super clean!

Chelsea was an excellent server, friendly and knowledgeable. First thing that I noticed was everything on the menu ended in .99. I get that it’s a psychological thing, but seemed very tacky. We order the crab dip appetizer, over spiced, salty, and not much crab flavor. The cast iron dish it was served in was rusty inside and out. Respect the cast iron! Cobb salad was a disappointment, nothing great, corn salsa instead of fresh corn and dressing was thick and not very good. Appeared to be a bottled dressing, sham it used to be the best part of the salad. Elk medallions with mashed potatoes and green beans. Elk had a nice char but was cooked well done. It was tuff and didn’t have a great flavor as expected when cooked to oblivion. Potatoes were okay sauce was over salted. One appetizer, two drinks, salad and a dinner $100. We won’t be coming back.
