I cannot speak about the restaurant, cabins, or fishing. But we used the event venue for an open house with 150+ guests (not a sit down - that would be cramped unless you were able to utilize the outdoor patios). Michelle was wonderfully easy to work with and did an exceptional job with a short staff. I continue to receive complements on both the food & choice of venue.

Great place, although starting to look and feel really run down and unkept for the price

Water leaking from roof found a cockroach and mouse inside brownie and the worst thing is around 8 pm there is this creepy grey deja car drives around and one time they tried to sneak into my truck I’m only giving it one star because the fishing was great

A classic spot. Lovely dining spaces and rustic cabins. Very friendly and accommodating staff. You must stop in if you are in the area, you won't believe this place exists.

This place is absolutely beautiful. We had a staff retreat here and they couldn't have picked a better place. The stream that runs through just makes the place even better. The buildings are perfectly constructed for the area and surrounding features.

As a family we have really enjoyed the Trout Club for years, and have held a couple of big events there. First of all, the appetizer we ordered is a staple: smoke trout and capers. You know. But what was served was a hard piece of trout with no capers, hardly any sour-cream and no chopped red onions as I expected. The dressings, well there was a little white onion, not red (and I mean a little), and instead of chopped it was sliced, and served with just croutons! Now, who puts croutons on smoked trout? What we expected were Melba toast as tradition dictates. Next were the salads. The salads were served on a plate and were plainly dressed. Then came the entrees. I ordered Steak au Poivre, and my wife ordered a Filet Minion. Now mind you, there were no prices on the menu, and I get this being that it Is a private club, but these entrees were $38 and $25 respectively! The Steak au Poive was pounded medallions of what looked and tasted to me to be pieces of veal, pounded flat to make them tender, and there were no peppercorns to speak of, anywhere. Now who forgets the peppercorns when serving au Poive? Doesn't this mean in French, "Peppered"? I think they gave me the wrong dish. My wife’s steak she said tasted “gamey” and she brought most of it back home for the dogs. When we got the $100+ bill we were disappointed. It was expensive for what we had. Too bad, because the ambiance is very nice and private, and the room is pleasant and quiet with only two other twosomes seated when we were there the whole time, on a Friday night!

Dined there with a group on 4/27/19. It was the the worst service of any meal in my LIFE! We waited for over 2 hours after our order had been placed for food. We even had reservations for the group. The staff said it was not their fault but the kitchen's issue. Zero bread, zero offers to order dessert. Some food had obviously been placed under warmers for the entire duration and was so dry you could use it to start a fire. Which it was freezing and they did not replentish the wood in the firepace but we were so hungry that we ate it rather than doing so. For premade, bar food, that could take hours with incompetend wait staff....well then this is the place for you!
