Russ was an excellent guy. Got my bike fixed and back on the trail to get back to my car. I was broken down and stranded. He is awesome and that bike shop is awesome.

I went there with an e scooter and a flat tire. The woman who's working there, put 45 minutes into wrestling my new inner tube to where it belonged. Absolutely amazing shop.

Buying a bike should be a simple and exciting process. My father was treated with disrespect and contempt the whole way. What a travesty this shop is.

I think the problem with Mountain Road Cycles is like a lot of places these days, rotating staff. I called a month or so prior and got someone who seemed relatively pleasant and somewhat helpful. When I called today to have my bike checked out I was told "sure we are not busy, bring it in, we'll look at it and if nothing is really wrong with it there won't be much of a charge, we'll get you in and out". When I brought it in 30 minutes later it was another story. The short dirty looking fellow that came out to "help" me was condescending and said to even look at it all, I'd have to leave it there and it would cost almost 100 dollars after tax. He had a seriously nasty attitude and was trying to get rid of me as quickly as possible. How busy can they be in March? Anyway, I told him that's not what I was told on the phone and he said it was. I told it that it most certainly was not and I left. Huge waste of my time and I'm glad I only brought one bike in. I have four. I planned on having some work done on a couple of them there too. I wanted to see how this went first. If you didn't buy one of their bikes, don't take it there. That's the message I got. Typical attitude for the area.

The crew at Mountain Road are incredibly friendly and always helpful. They've repeatedly helped me keep rolling on my very old Reynolds steel bike, and do some minor upgrades along the way.Most recently, they helped me to get my bike working properly with my new Wahoo Kickr. The outcome is that my bike (old 9-speed road bike) not only works beautifully with the Kickr, but its drivetrain even got generally smoother thanks to their attention to detail. Just awesome!Highly recommend this place. You might even get a chance to pet a cute doggo while there! Super thankful we have this gem of a shop so close in Chagrin.

Rude and unhelpful. He didn’t fix my flat tire. Insisted it only needed air when I was sure it needed to be replaced. Charged $12 to put air in two tires and flat by the time I arrived home.

I bought my bike at a different bike store in Solon, OH, 5 years ago. Last year my bike starting making a grinding/ straining noise when I rode. I took it to the place I bought my bike several times. They (a) could not hear any noise (it was a very loud, distinctive grinding), and (b) did not offer to fix anything. At one point the owner of the original store told me to turn up my headphones when I rode not to hear anything. Needless to say - terrible!I ended up going to Mountain Road Cycles for a second opinion and they heard the noise immediately and said that it was not right. Long story short, the wrong kind of lubrication had been used on my seat post (I have a carbon fiber bike and the original bike store used regular lubricant). Mountain Road Cycles fixed the noise! And they also cleaned up my chain/ etc. that had never been cleaned by the original bike store even though I took it in for a "tune-up" each year.Very nice. Professional. Highly recommend vs. the local place in Solon.

Amazing bicycle shop. The men there are very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. There prices and availability of accessories is great! Highly recommend this shop for any bicycle need.
