I've left my dog for kenneling and volunteered with GAO several times over the past 5+ years, nothing but great interactions with Linda and the other volunteers. This page is currently be review bombed by someone who lost their dog and has accused the organization of stealing him, which I have hard time believing is anywhere close to the full story.Linda has done a lot for greyhound adoption in northeast ohio for 30 years and I will happily give her the benefit of the doubt unless proven otherwise.

Linda and her volunteers are very friendly. They have many excellent dogs and are happy to help find you a good match. The kennel is well maintained and the dogs have plenty of space for runs. Everyone was careful to maintain masks and safe distancing while being very friendly. Highly recommend you get your retired racing greyhound here!

GAO & Linda are wonderful. They work diligently to assure dogs are placed in proper, good fitting homes. Even during COVID-19, they worked to help me adopt my terrific greyhound. I have worked with many dogs, rescue organizations, & breeds over the years & this one is top notch. Linda truly puts her heart & soul into the organization to find the perfect fit for every dog & she really respects who each individual (animal & person) is. The best people. Our grey (Flashy) is PERFECT. I hadnt had a dog for 31 yrs but linda and susan prepared me well and it has been absolutely wonderful !! I love my boy....Greyhounds are really really great pets, very smart, obedient, lovable.

Linda is hugely knowledgeable and does amazing work looking after and re-homing these greyhounds.My wife and I got our gorgeous retired athlete Andy from Linda at GAO. He's well tempered and a wonderful addition to our family.Great environment for dogs, I wouldn't hesitate to bring Andy back if we need boarding (at excellent rates).If you're thinking of getting a dog please consider adopting a greyhound from GAO. Though do your research and make sure you have the right home environment.Linda offers unrivalled support for new and experienced dog owners as well as clear documents and advice on all scenarios.
