If I could give her less than 1 star, I would. To start, Carol was rude & cold right when we walked in the door. Did not greet us or our dog. She wouldn't even look at us. My dog gets very, very excited meeting new people and you could tell she was annoyed/stressed out and she started being very rude right away. Wouldn't let us go in the exam room with him, which I thought was extremely odd. She apparently took a skin sample and came out to tell us that he has ringworm and he's a "wreck". We asked how she came to this conclusion and she responded "I looked under a microscope" with a very cold look & tone. No other proof or documentation whatsoever. I'm not 100% confident she even did a skin sample. When we were trying to ask questions about the treatment options, cost, length of treatment, etc., she gave extremely vague answers with no real evidence or clarification to our questions and said, "you need to make a decision, because I have other clients I need to see." She didn't give us more than 15 seconds to think about it before saying that. Very, very pushy/high pressure sales tactics to make big decisions without having time to process the information. From the moment I stepped foot in here, I had a bad feeling and wish we just walked away before she charged us $150 for nothing. Please, go anywhere else and save yourself the trouble.

Definitely wish I looked over the yelp reviews before attending my appointment here. Not sure how they have a 4.7 rating on google. As soon as i walked in, i had a terrible feeling. I wish i would've walked right back out and saved my money. Sketchy, rude, and unprofessional sum up this practice.

Good thing most people stick to google for these reviews. Interesting how much time some people have - multiple reviews under different accounts to post hateful and untruthful comments. If you take a moment to look at these individuals post history, they have a sour time everywhere they go. I encourage you to dismiss the remarks of these miserable people. Dr Carol is top tier professional, intelligent, caring, generous and a miracle worker. As someone who has taken multiple family dogs over the last decade to her, I've seen time and time again her efforts and care go above and beyond. I'm constantly amazed that my 10 year old and 8 year old are looking and acting like puppies due to her guidance and PAAWS anti-aging vitamins. I could write all day about her, she is the best!

We moved to the area recently and had much anxiety about finding a vet that would do well with our on dogs' anxiety and fear issues. We are so grateful to have found Dr. Carol. She has helped our dogs in emergency and non emergency situations and both dogs trust her completely. She is also flexible and easy to reach with great response time. Her experience and knowledge shows in her thorough work and attention.

We have been taking our dogs to see Dr. Carol for years. A friend had recommended her to us for our first dog with epilepsy when we were having difficulties finding a veterinarian that could help us. We currently bring our 2 dogs, Jagger and Stevie, to see her. She is very knowledgeable and takes a holistic approach with the dogs. She looks for a permanent solution instead of just treating the symptoms. I always recommend The Chagrin Falls Pet Clinic when someone is looking for a new Veterinarian.

We started seeing Dr. Carol when our Bernedoodle, Fitz, was 6 months old… he had GI issues off and on for about 3 months, and nothing our previous vet recommended was working. After a string of sleepless evenings, taking him out anywhere from 2-3 times a night, we decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Carol at the recommendation of our dog trainer.Dr. Carol assessed our puppy as you would a human patient - looking at the problem holistically, such as doing a blood panel work up. She reviewed his previous vaccination records and pinpointed the root cause of his GI sensitivity, addressing the problem and not just the symptoms. We kept in close contact for a month to monitor his intake and output daily, and his issues largely subsided in the first week, something we hadn’t seen success with in months - not to mention, we were sleeping through the night again! She even found an anomaly within his blood work that allowed us to identify a potential issue and remediate ASAP.3 years later, Fitz is living his best life, and we continue to entrust our furry family member’s well being to Dr. Carol and her lovely team at Chagrin Falls Pet Clinic, who put the animal’s happiness and health at the top of the priority list. If your dog or cat is experiencing any health challenges - GI or otherwise - Dr. Carol and her team are a must see to get them the best possible care!

Dr. Carol has treated my 5 dogs over a span of many years. She has treated their common and very uncommon conditions and kept them all healthy and happy. Her skill as a diagnostition has always greatly impressed me. We've dealt with everything from "cocker ears" to cancer and she has always made me feel like part of the team in my dogs' health care.

We have a 3 year old yellow lab who has had some health issues and was suffering from GI disturbances and bad skin issues. We had been using a local vet with our Labradors who had became trigger happy with prescribing serious pharmaceuticals to our dogs. There was little discussion to consider holistic changes or running any tests to understand the true nature of the issue at hand. Not only were we frustrated but found it near impossible to ever get in for an appointment. It felt like our dog’s health was never their priority.A friend of ours had switched to Dr. Carol who was able to change her dog’s life for the better by simply changing his diet, per Dr. Carol's diagnosis, which got his gut straightened out. We wondered if the same miraculous turnaround would be possible for our lab and decided to give Dr. Carol a call.Through our time working with her, we have found that Dr. Carol is extremely passionate about the health and wellbeing of all animals which is what makes us really love having her as a vet! We feel so fortunate that we switched to her practice since she has been able to get to the root of all of his health issues and is thriving in every way! Even though our previous vet clinic is only 5 minutes down the street vs. 30 min to Dr. Carol's practice, the attention to detail and the quality of care we receive is well worth it! At the end of the day, I wouldn’t hesitate to refer others to her practice; good luck finding another Dr. Carol—she is one of a kind!

After a year and 3 different vets, Dr. Carol cleared my boxer pup of an infection that uprooted our lifes. Dr. Carol was able to diagnose her and clear the infection in just ONE visit. We are clients for life now!

I’ve been a huge fan of Dr. Carols supplements for many years and had been using her in person services sporadically due to the long distance drive. But this last year after some really terrible experiences with the vet I was using closer to home I decided to commit to the 45 minute drive to see Dr. Carol as my primary veterinarian. She’s worth every minute and penny plus more.In June of 2022, I went to my previous vet for a routine visit for senior blood work for three of my dogs and was given devastating news. My 8 yr old dog was in kidney failure, and the other two (9 & 13) needed surgeries (quoted 3-5k a piece) to have masses removed that they guaranteed were cancer. I was so heartbroken. I was guilted into feeling like the surgery was worth pursuing with my 13 year old dog and was not given any other reasonable options for quality end of life care. I was given no clear information about the prognosis of my dog with kidney failure other than changing to a prescription food. This was when I knew I needed to commit to Dr. Carol full time. The care and attention she put into each of my dogs issues was so intentional. With proper blood work and urinalysis, she was able to almost completely reverse my dogs failing kidneys with her supplements and recommended diet and lifestyle changes. It is now October of 2023 and he is at a plateau with his symptoms and I’m so grateful for the improved prognosis. While this is a chronic issue, I feel confident that I’m being given all of the information needed to keep him around as long as possible. With my 9 year old dog, she performed a biopsy and it was determined the mass had a 0% rate of metastasizing. A much more affordable and sensible option for me that eased my mind greatly. She has also provided great support for his aging hips and joints and I’ve seen so much improvement. My 13 year old did have a malignant mass that was causing him some discomfort. Dr. Carol recognized and was sensitive to his condition and never once made me feel guilty for wanting to see reasonable care due to his age. Without using full sedation, She removed the small skin lesion so he could simply be more comfortable (again, a much more affordable option than was ever presented to us previously) and prescribed what was needed for him to age as gracefully as possible before us needing to say goodbye. Saying goodbye to a dog is hard enough, but knowing that your veterinarian has given you all of the information to feel good in making that decision is so helpful.Overall, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Carol more. She is honest, knowledgeable, and very logical in her approach. I appreciate the balance of holistic and modern medicine and anything she recommends she will 100% be able to give you the science that backs it up. I always feel informed of all of my options so I can make the decisions that make the most sense for my dogs. If you’re looking for a vet who truly cares about their craft and isn’t just the cookie-cutter “well this is what everyone else does so let’s just do that” type, look no further.

Everyone please write your reviews on google too! I fell for this place after seeing the 5 star rating on google. This was the worst vet experience I have ever had.

Many thanks to Dr. Carol for the great care she gives to Bella. We appreciate a holistic approach to veterinary care - and we get the best at Dr. Carol's office. Bella is the third of our dogs who have been cared for by Dr. Carol. We are very happy and highly recommend her practice to everyone.

We absolutely love Dr. Carol! She is so passionate about animals, and her attention to details is superb! My family was out of town in another state when my bulldog became very sick while with a sitter. Dr. Carol called us back right away and was able to see our dog that morning for treatment. She always takes the best care of our dog and walk us through any instructions and answers my questions. Great staff and very accommodating with appointments. I’ve been bringing my dog for 8 years and recommend for any pet parents!
