I’ve shopped at Cascades Boutique for years! Outstanding clothing and excellent customer service! I was in the store recently and had a friend of mine who had to use the restroom. The sales associate/store manager politely informed me of store policy which was no public restroom use and directed me and my friend to the public restroom across the street or Starbucks up the block. I tried to use the restroom at the back of the store, however the sales associate informed me they did not own that restroom that it belonged to the salon downstairs. Totally understandable as I was not a salon customer. The sales associate also mentioned that due to Covid, which the store was affected by that no customers were able to use the restroom. My friend and I were able to use the public restroom across the street and returned to our shopping experience. I love the quality of clothing and experience this store provides!!

While in the store with my girlfriend, she had to use the restroom which I’ve used in the past prior to Covid. The restroom is shared with the hair salon downstairs. The sales associate was very nice at first however, when asked if I could use the restroom she said absolutely not, and the door was locked from the other side. I took it upon myself to go down to the hair salon and asked if my girlfriend could use the restroom. They were very sweet and said of course I said well supposedly the door is locked from your side. Could you unlock it for her. When we climbed the stairs, the door was actually locked from the boutique side the sales associate unlocked the door. As I walked in and told my girlfriend she could use the restroom the sales associate told me to get out of the store. She also said that I must think I’m above the rules. She did state that we could go across the street to the police station and the only public restrooms in Chagrin Falls were at restaurants or police stations. It was a dire situation that needed to be addressed right then and there and my girlfriend could not walk across the street to the police station. My girlfriend used the restroom and as soon as she walked back into the store, the sales associates yelled at her to say get out. I wrote to the store and received an answer that stated I thought that I was above the rules and the sales associate did the right thing. According to the website, the owner is supposed to be very Christian like and believes there is good as all people. I will never frequent the store again. The lack of respect for humankind on the part of the sales associate as well as my email response supposedly from the owner, however I think it may have been the sales associate is completely lacking of respect.

I loved this boutique. Friendly staff so happy to help; not pushy, just super nice. I stopped in with a girlfriend in late August. She said this was one of her two favorites in Chagrin Falls. I came away with a beautiful, unique outfit I will enjoy for years to come. Thanks, gals!

Buyer Beware! The proprietor will be very friendly, helpful and courteous during the sale. Personal experience has shown this not to be the case when making a timely return of an unsatisfactory product. Clothing that shrinks and becomes unwearable after being laundered explicitly as directed is unacceptable! Also unacceptable is a proprietor who is rude and fails to stand behind the quality of the garments sold in her boutique. Not only will I not return to this store, but I will recommend that my family and friends avoid it as well.

Stopped by the store to find a last minute birthday present for my girlfriend. The owner was super helpful and picked out a skirt and some unique jewelry that my girlfriend absolutely loves - great experience, easy shopping, will definitely go back!!

SHORT ANSWER: Shop this store.
Great selection of one of a kind items not found elsewhere. Buyer has excellent fashion sense. As far as return policy, it is noted on the receipt and is typical for small business in the area. If you want unlimited returns after wearing items or not following washing instructions, try a big box retailer.

SHORT ANSWER: Avoid this place.
Longer review: On a Friday, I purchased a number of items for my wife, for her birthday. Some of them were "special price" items and the sign said "no returns/sales final" and I was hesitant until the woman said she would make a note in her system that they could be returned or exchanged since I was buying them for my wife (and I watched her go to the computer). She seemed very friendly during the sale.
2 of the 3 items were fine, but one fit really oddly and when my wife returned to exchange it a week or so later, she was told that she had to have returned the Saturday immediately following my purchase, Then she suggested my wife regift the shirt to someone.
She was rude and smarmy throughout the exchange.
As if the proprietors behavior wasn't bad enough, I've since found out that most of her clothes aren't boutique or custom at all, but can be found in a number of chain stores, too.

Very disappointed. I purchased a dress, washed it per the instructions on the tag, and the dress length shrank while the lining remained the same. The saleswoman stated that the dress was a promotional item that they'd had "trouble with" but this problem was not representative of the store. She would not stand by the quality of the items sold in her shop and accept the dress as a return (it was still within 60 days). I do not recommend this store.
