My experience today with Rylie Myers has boosted my confidence and been such a pleasure. The appointment started out with a consultation for a cut and foil highlighting. The level of care and her overall kindness really impressed me and I felt relaxed and confident in her care. What really impressed me was how she knew how to treat my very curly hair gently and safely. The overall results are the best style and color I’ve ever had. I will definitely be a repeat client of hers.

Nadia did a lovely job on my nails! I haven’t had my nails done in a long time and she answered all my questions about the whole process and was overall very friendly. I got the gel x nails and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Overall, a very calm and welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in. I will definitely be back!

So I love raven. She does a great job. I started going here like three years ago. For cut and dye it ran around 230. I went back earlier than I usually do, so really only needed a bit of a trim and my roots done. I thought I might be paying a little less than usual. To my surprise, when I went to check out, the total came to 330! I was shocked and very sad. I love ravens work but 330$ is just way too much to spend on a dye and cut. If you are comfortable with spending that much money, then please go and ask for raven (especially for blonde). She gets it a gorgeous blonde that doesn't destroy your hair. I just wish they didn't up their prices by 100. I would keep going to her forever if it were the 230 price.

My daughter grew her hair very long and it looked beautiful. My wife took her into Michael’s Salon to have a few inches cut and layered. The stylist was advised to take a few inches off and for layers. She cut almost 12” off very fast and it was uneven all over plus no layers because she whacked it off. This was the second time with this particular stylist who ignored and did what she wanted. My daughter came out balling her eyes out and embarrassed. My wife went back inside to talk to Michael who tried to even it out without having to go even shorter. Nothing even offered as a courtesy for the situation. I went back the next day to politely talk to Michael who is very courteous and apologetic for the event but still no offer to compensate anything for the terrible cut. Tonight my daughter is still crying because of what it looks like. $40 for this. I understand things can happen but this is not the first go around. The stylist just don’t listen or maybe she does know how to give layers since it has happened twice or maybe she was just ready to get off work because my daughter was a rush cut. They could have at least offered my daughter a future cut or hair product or something. Ugh! Now all three of us will find another place simply because they didn’t seem to care. There are some great stylists there. Just be careful. Please read other numerous reviews!
UPDATE: The manager, Michael, reached out today to apologize once again for the situation and resolve the complaint. He was very nice, professional and genuinely seems to care about his customers.
Stylist: Aliyah - I just feel that both visits she doesn’t listen to what is advised.

This place is really upscale in operation I've had 2 massages from Diandra and both have been amazing. Deep tissue for an hour. The setup is what you'd expect in Vegas. Center area to meet your therapist. With refreshments and nice seating. The rooms have showers and very mellow atmosphere. Very professional from beginning to end. I've become a regular.....

Firstly, I had called to book my account and was told I would be seeing Jordan. After viewing her Instagram photos, I was excited to have her as a stylist. I get there and told the girl I was there for my appointment with Jordan. She had me fill out some paperwork and I sat and waited for awhile. Next thing I know, a lady named Bess is seeing me. I was confused. Anyways, I went along with the process. Bess highlighted my hair well, but it didn't come out really the way I wanted it, it had too much bronze gold in my hair still. She asked if I wanted a trim, and she showed me it was like 1/2 inch uneven on one side. It took her less than 30 seconds to cut 1 straight line across to make it even. The highlights were $52 for just top partial, very reasonable. However, I went to check-out, and I had been charged another $49 for a haircut. How is that reasonable at all. I voiced my opinion and was told that was just her price. I won't be going back with that price. I could see if I got a full-cut with layers and framing. But literally a tiny piece of my hair cut off for $49? Rip-off. I was kind of shocked I was even asked to leave gratuity at that point. I would probably leave 0 stars if I could at this point.
Stylist: Bess. Good with highlights.

I chose to book with a stylist today who was 30+ minutes late for my 30 minute booked haircut appointment. I asked the staff to check on the wait, and they told me it would likely be another 10 minutes as she was still styling another client. I was not able to stay, as my 30 minute appointment now would take over an hour. It's very disappointing to have my time wasted.

I would not recommend Michael's Salon for any type of a perm hairstyle. I would recommend Square One in Centerville, or you can try a new salon, which is at the opposite end of Michael's salon in Centerville. If you're facing Michael's you'll want to go to the left and go almost to the end of the strip mall, just a a few doors down from Dot's market. Mainstreet Salon. My problem with Michael's... I went in for a spiral perm, I made it very clear before the appointment, and through my entire consultation with the hairdresser that I did not want to use, the long barrel rods that are typically used for spirals. I wanted white rods on the top of my hair, and purple rods, (Candlewyck style) every place else. After a long argument, and being assured that they have changed the way they do these things, I agreed to use the barrel rods. That part I will own, but then she started pushing me in to having my hair colored, because I had old hair color on my hair that was store-bought. I explained many times to her that I've been getting perms every two years for 30 years and the old hair color has never caused a problem. They put the regular perming solution on and the new hair growth curls up just as well as all of the hair that has the old color on it. She argued with me and told me that she would not do my perm if I didn't agree to let her do the hair color right then and there. She Assured me that doing a hair color and then immediately after doing the hair color, perming, my hair... would not burn up my hair and would not lift that haircolor out. And in fact, it did burn my hair up and it did pull that color out. And for the next six months, I'm gonna be stuck with dried, frizzy, ratted up hair. And, with a curl that is super tight and not what I wanted. When I went to Michael's to try and get this fixed, they refused to give me back any of the extra money that she overcharged. She quoted me a price of an extra $50 for the hair color and then charged me $147 for it. My quoted price for that day was $152 and she charged me $299. And then took up six hours of my time because she kept taking other customers in between of working on my hair. I should've just walked away when she told me to do it her way, or go home. But, I trusted her. I've never given a bad review of any place before, but it really upsets me, that it took me a long time to save up the money to be able to get this kind of perm,. And now, it's all frayed, and fried and it's breaking off whenever I pick through it. Because she over processed it and burned it up. Now I'm going to be spending more money on products to try and get my hair back to a healthy place.
