Be Very Careful With This Business, This Man Fixed My Vehicle Never Called Me To Let Me Know What The Issue Was With My Vehicle , He Fixed It The Next Day Which Was Great, But Wat If I Didn’t Have The Money To Pay For That Service? Then To Top It Off My Vehicle Was Damaged By Mechanic Hands With Black Oil All Over My Interior Side Panel Where One Of The Workers Or Owner Tried ToPush My Car Into The Garage, But He Denied It Who Else Could Have Done That?? I called multiple times for an estimate to rebuild my transmission. I was told by two different people there, one said he was the general manager, that they would call me back. Its now been maybe two weeks, and I have yet to hear from either person. I was told by the GM that the other guy never called me back, and he promise he would, so we see how far that went, oh well

Excellent service here. I was a fan of Dave and his honesty from the prior shop that was in this space, and the new outfit that has taken its place has the same honesty that I’m looking for with any mechanic. I had a leak from a previously replaced transmission done by another shop, and these guys found the problem and fixed it for me, keeping me posted with texts and pictures which was a nice feature. I’ll be back here the next time anything on my cars break.Services: Transmission

i brought my 2012 chevy malibu in to check the brakes because i heard a grinding.....they kept it 4 days and told me on the test drive it was only the abs kicking in....i was charged $125 for absolutely nothing.......dont go to this place...its a rip off gg

I took my 2004 miata to Gorbys with intentions of replacing the entire clutch assembly. I explained to them that the clutch was going out and needed to be replaced. I also asked them to charge the battery and look at a sticky caliper. I dropped the vehicle off on Friday and was told I would receive a call back before the end of the day. I didn't. Monday I finally called asking questions and they stated that they were just then pulling the vehicle in but couldn't find anything wrong with it. The person I spoke with over the phone told me that he was going to "drive it for the hell of it" but still couldn't replicate what I explained. I told them at this point I wanted to pick my vehicle up. When I arrived I was charge for a vehicle diagnostic test in which I never asked for. I knew bring in the vehicle that it needed a clutch. A diagnostic check does not test a clutch. I do no recommend bringing your vehicle here unless it is an easy fix that can be identified by pulling codes.Edit response 3/29I have called the company for over a week now being told I would get a call back from the owner and have not received one yet. Yes I went in and explained what was going on with the vehicle....I also stated in person that I understand that the clutch will need to be replaced. While calling the shop I was told by "charlie" that my vehicle was driven by him for 45 min and could not "replicate" the issue in which I said was there. Also Charlie stated that he drove the car through all 5 gears to make sure even though the car isn't a 5 speed which again makes me question as to what was done with my vehicle. Charlie let me know that 3 different people drove my vehicle and that they out gas in my car in which I did not authorize. To be specific they put regular gas in a vehicle that strictly state premium only..........with no notification to the customer. When I picked up the vehicle I was told that the only thing they could hear was a bit of free spinning from the pilot bearing..... this is part of the issue that I stated. 1 day after leaving this shop the clutch in my vehicle exploded but they couldn't find anything. I understand that there was no way to see that but when I left the shop it was doing the exact same thing as when I brought it there. Don't tell a customer you drove 45 min I'd you didn't. Just be truthful.

Gorbys was a life saver when we quickly needed help over the holiday weekend with a leak when we needed to get home. Gorbys had us fixed up and good to go the same day that we dropped our car off, charged us a fair price, and was transparent through the whole process. Feel I was very overcharged and when I called the dealer (my car was already at Gorby's) to compare prices I found the dealer prices cheaper. Once I picked up my car it lasted 5 minutes on the road and had to take back to them to redo the work. Total repair time was over a month.

My vehicle was towed here on a recommendation from AAA based on what I thought was a totaled transmission. Shane, the owner, not only reassured me that the repairs were not as serious as I thought, but took the time to thoroughly explain what was happening with my car, and what would be needed to fix it. The repairs were done quickly, and the pricing was extremely fair. I will definately bring my vehicle back here in the future.
