They school age teachers are great with the kids. The ownership is horrible seems all about how to get rhe most money out of parents. My son attended 3 days then we moved out of town. She sent a 3 week bill charge 3.5 months later. What a joke!! Would not recommend just because of the ownership.

Explorations is so much more than a daycare, it's a safe place for my child and so may people there feel more like family. My daughter has been going to Explorations for the last 6.5 years. We have been in every single classroom throughout the building now that she's in the school age room. The teachers there at every level truly love the kids, and work really hard on not only letting the kids have fun, but also teaching them, keeping them engaged though projects, field trips, and lesson plans they create each week. My daughter always has a great day, and especially loves the huge playground - mom loves that it's secure and shaded with all the trees. Linda (owner) and Alyssa (Assistant Director) are so flexible and easy to work with.

Explorations was our second daycare. We switched upon the recommendation of a friend after a negative experience with our previous daycare. We have been there for over 3 years now and we just love it! Between both kids, we have been in every room at Explorations and we have nothing but positive things to say.My daughter has made great friends there and her teachers have been wonderful. They truly care about the kids and want to help them learn and grow. She just finished kindergarten, and her teacher at Explorations was a big part of her success despite having a lot of learning virtually.My son started in the infant room and will move to the preschool room this summer -- the same room where my daughter started over 3 years ago, and the same teachers are still there. I'm so excited for him to have his preschool experience at Explorations!If I ever have a question or concern, Alyssa (Assistant Director) is always quick to respond and very helpful. I feel confident bringing up anything and getting it answered quickly and thoroughly.In all, we love everything about Explorations, from the teachers and staff to the classrooms and the amazing outdoor playground. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a daycare in Centerville that will treat your kids like family.

We've been sending our children to Explorations for almost 6 years, when our oldest was almost 3, and our girls have been attending since they were around 3 months old. There are few people I would trust more with my kids! The staff are patient, kind, and treat my kids like their own. At this point, many of the teachers are more like family.I read another negative review regarding the holding fee they charged so we could keep our place during the pandemic closure, and I just have to shake my head. They had overhead and staff to take care of, so I completely understand why they made that decision and had no issues paying to keep our spots in this school. It was 110% worth it!As far as the structure goes, I am always blown away by the activities and curricula the staff plan for the kids. My youngest was able to communicate via a few signs that she was taught in her classroom, which of course helped us avoid some tantrums! The summer is always my favorite season with them, bc they plan such fun activities for the kids! For example, today was the first of three art workshops they arranged throughout the summer, and they also are having a "build a bear" type event later too.As they are the only daycare we've used, I honestly can't speak to where they fall, affordability-wise, in comparison to other facilities. However, I personally find the rates to be incredibly fair, considering all they do there and the hours they hold.All in all, you couldn't ask for a better group of people!

Much more than a daycare. The preschool 2-3 year old room teachers are always teaching reading and numbers through engaging projects. My daughter always has a great day. I also like how flexible and easy to work with Linda (owner) and Alyssa (Asst Director) are. Lastly, the playground is huge! I love that's it's behind the building in a secure location. My daughter loves playing in her "fort".

Couldn't have found a better place for my children! As a new mom, selecting a daycare was a daunting task. From day one (back in 2012), the teachers treated my children as their own. There was no doubt that the teachers would go to any length to keep my children safe and care for them. Explorations always has new projects to keep our kids engaged and is always looking for ways to get our kids outside during the summer and nice weather. Anytime my children became under-the-weather or have a boo-boo while at the center, the teachers showed total care and concern for my child's well-being and safety.Lets talk COVID - Good gracious did Explorations go ABOVE AND BEYOND! They put in place all the precautions to keep our children safe while at the same time they provided support with virtual learning (with no increase in fees, mind you!) which was a life saver!Our children have been there since May 2012 through the school years and summer breaks. From day one through today they go to great lengths to provide support to their families and show love, compassion and encouragement. You CAN'T go wrong with Explorations! Even after our children are grown and no longer require daycare... this place will always be a family to us!! <3

We have been at Explorations for 6 years now and love it there! The staff are friendly and helpful and they come up with such cute ideas to help the kids learn. I know my children as safe and engaged when they are there and that they truly love my kids -some days it's hard to get them to leave! I would recommend them to anyone!

Have been using Explorations for a couple years now for my boys. Love the place. Wish I would have found sooner! Love that I feel safe with my kids here and know they are well taken care of. Absolutely love the staff, assistant director and owner! Love getting picture updates every day of my kiddos, a great plus not many daycare do..

We’ve been using Explorations Child Enrichment Center for childcare for almost 10 years. I currently have 3 children at the center. When I searched for daycares I visited a lot of different centers. I still remember the things that struck me about Explorations were the number of BOOKS I saw in the center, and watching the way the children and staff interacted with each other.The teachers and staff become a part of your family; there are MANY folks still there from when we first started! Our family has also become close with many other families that use the center over the years. As my kids grow up, I credit these teachers, staff, families, and kids for helping them turn into polite, capable people who can interact with adults, take direction, and socialize appropriately with each other. This is our village!As we go into summer I greatly appreciate the amount of effort and coordinating involved in supporting the multiple fun activities and field trips my kids get to take part in - this week alone my school-agers have 3 afternoons of activities!I also cannot speak highly enough about the support this center offered our family during covid. I could always trust that my children’s schoolwork was prioritized and everything that could be done would be done before the end of their day. We truly could not have done this without them!

Our kids have attended Explorations for years. Through the pandemic and virtual school they were definitely thrown lots of curve balls but always went the extra mile and took the best care of our kiddos! We love Explorations!!

The current teachers in the young toddler room are the best. My child has learned so much in such a short amount of time. He is always so happy to get dropped off everyday ??We also loved all the teachers in the infant room. My child still says hi to them every morning and says good bye to them in the afternoon!
