The setting is beautiful and all of the teachers have a different style. The Gentle classes are good for anyone. And the All Levels classes are good for everyone too, you just need to remember to modify the poses that aren't quite right for you. Rhonda is the best! This yoga center is partnered with The Yoga Place at 6734 Wise Ave. in N. Canton.

Did an introductory Tai Chi class with Laura at Yoga Central. Laura is wonderful, patient, and knowledgeable. The class size was under 10 people, all friendly and welcoming. All had been practicing for a few years, up to more than 10. While this format isn't what I am looking for at this time, I would recommend Laura and Yoga Central if you are interested in Tai Chi.

Went today 3/18/24. Wife had got me a session for a "SOUND BATH". This was my first time experiencing this treatment. I have always had trouble trying to meditate because my mind races. Nicole really took the time to explain this technique before we started and you could really feel her passion for this. In the end I had relaxed and even caught myself falling asleep a couple of times while enjoying the different sounds and tones she created. Will definitely do this again now that I know what to expect.

Music 3/10 - The ambience was cool, as always. Sound pretty well balanced altho hard to hear the bass, esp. elec. bass. My only complaint was the shift from jazz standards to rock classics. "Hot Blooded" etc are songs we have heard so many times they are a cliche. The fellow playing the Gibson ES 335 did a really sweet job on the jazz material - nice tone, phrasing..just wish he'd stayed with that.

I love being able to take classes (and teach) at both Yoga Central and The Yoga Place. They are beautiful spaces and have great products for purchase! Even if you are not ready to purchase props for a class, both locations have props to borrow!

the space at yoga central is beautiful and the yoga place has a heated floor! the instructors are so knowledgeable, friendly, and kind- they suggest modifications and even help by giving specific instructions on how to do poses. I love it here and attend multiple classes per week! I strongly recommend checking it out! sally

New to yoga, I am glad to be in such great company in both Yoga Place and Yoga Central. These are beautiful and welcoming centers and I feel lucky to gain a better understanding of how to retain and gain strength through yoga. Every staff member that I have met has been extremely knowledgeable and supportive in such a way that I am honored to be in their presence. After just a few months of attending a variety of beginner classes, I’m already feeling stronger and understanding more about how to strengthen myself, elongating the spine before I twist, and breathing to calm my nervous system. With much growth ahead of me, the staff and studios here are a great asset to even newcomers like myself.

My first visit, today for the Barre Class with instructor Pamela Sayre and I can say 5 stars all the way. As a middle-aged man I had sort of been stuck in linear thinking when it comes to working out and did not really understand or see a need to vary this. Since my teen years all of my exercises have been dominated by front to back exercises. Bench pressing, deadlift, squat, pull up, sit up and all sorts of other press and/or pull movements. Even my cardio has always been cycling, walking or rowing which is all front to back movement. With a desk job where I am sitting or sitting and driving I have realized that my lateral strength and agility are pretty weak. So, I welcome the change in thought that the body needs all sorts of movement and challenge. While I am not an elite athlete I do consider myself fairly fit and stronger than the average middle aged guy being able to bench press over 300 pounds and deadlift over 400 pounds I realize those movements do almost nothing for lateral strength and agility. I am extremely weak when it comes to lateral movements. I tore my meniscus in my left knee earlier this year and had surgery in June. Doing physical therapy they gave me a band to put around my ankles to do lateral band walks. The band probably only has around 10-15 pounds of pressure but walking side to side with this band around my ankles and feeling my outer hip muscles burn made me realize some weak lateral areas on my body which probably helped me mess up my knee. So when my wife suggested I try Barre class I was like sure. When I did it, I found myself sweating about 20 minutes in and definitely struggling with some of the movements. Anyway, I highly recommend this, especially for men who are likely to dismiss "group" classes as not being challenging enough. It is very challenging which is great, makes the body stronger. So guys, don't dismiss this, it will challenge you and humble you.Great facility and great teacher, enjoyed the class. I think I will definitely end up going to more classes and perhaps some Yoga.

I had an AMAZING experience at Yoga Central! Everyone was kind, welcoming, and I had such a phenomenal experience with my restorative yoga and sound bath event. Mike was wonderful, and I hope to take more classes with him soon.
