“Began the cabinet search for remodeling our kitchen about a year ago. We knew we were doing the work ourselves so we considered "ready to assembly" cabinets as an option. Found Discount Custom Cabinets during an online search. The photos were appealing so we stopped in (2 hour one way drive) to see the cabinets in person. Showroom is not fancy. Several cabinet styles were on hand. Cabinet selection and quality were what we sought (no pressed wood components was a must). James spent a good deal of time with us discussing options, layout, delivery, etc. A layout was created based on our dimensions and cabinet size selections. Pricing for the layout matched the prices reflected in the online inventory. We delayed our purchase a couple of times due to our demolition progress. Our quote (Octo 2024) was extended without question each time. Once we ordered (mid Nov 2024), home site delivery occurred as stated (late Dec 2024) by Krystal during the purchase/payment process. All of our boxes/cabinets arrived with no damage (carrier was very cordial and handled the merchandise like it was his own) and in the time frame stated. Assembly videos found on the Discount Custom Cabinet web site supported us during the assembly stage. As with any new chore, the assembly time for each cabinet became shorter as we gained experience. All cabinets are sturdy and as beautiful in person as they were in the showroom. We are extremely happy with the product, the process, and the support from James, Krystal, and their extended support team. Discount Custom Cabinets enabled us to secure a top notch quality kitchen while saving big bucks. If you have the talent to do finish type work then you too can have a beautiful kitchen without spending an excessive amount of money.
