They have a lot to do. There’s a children section downstairs right by the entrance, which has toys, kids books, and computers. They have a studio room where you can make stuff with like buttons and stuff? I’ve never been in there, so I can’t really say much about it. They have cd’s, dvds, hard and paper books, magazines, manga, computers upstairs, printers, puzzles upstairs near the magazines, a couple bathrooms and water fountains, and they have frequent events (like chess night for example). The only reason for four stars instead of five is because there aren’t as many sections as I wished there were. For instance, I believe the fiction section downstairs has just Romance, Inspirational, Larger Text books, and Sci-Fi. There may be one or two that I’m missing, but other than that it’s only sorted by Author. Now, I’ve never worked in a Library, so I ain’t going to talk smack about stuff I don’t know. I just would’ve like a little more separation of the genres. But, other than that, this place is pretty good! The air conditioning is also really nice on hot days. Oh, and most of the staff is really nice and helpful. Sometimes they may get a bit snippy when it’s busier, but that’s understandable lol. I honestly wish this place was open for longer. I am so disgusted with this library. For the past week, I have been trying to get books on the Libby app. It's asks me to verify my library card # which I do. It then tells me the library server is down. I notified the library and they say they are working to fix the problem. For a whole week?

I am beyond tired of coming into this library with my kids and dealing with the rude old woman working in the kids section. She has short brownish hair. She needs to be moved to a section that kids aren’t in. She is grumpy and mean to the kids just having fun at the library. This place should be a safe space for kids to go. She ruins our experience every time we are here. I’m disgusted by her behavior every time I encounter her. Do us all a favor and remove the grumpy and rude old woman from the kids section!!! She isn’t doing anyone any favors by being so nasty.

The library staff failed to check in my DVDs (twice) and even though I notified them several times of this mishap they sent threatening letters to me stating they are turning me over to a collection agency. I am a senior citizen and have been using the library for 30 years. The librarian at the North Branch was mean, uncaring and purposely failed to check in my returns (twice). The rest of the staff when I called treated me like a criminal. I am seeking legal advice. ZERO STARS. Plus the woman I talked to on the phone was blatantly racist (asked me if the librarian I dealt with was black). Taxpayers need to know how their money is being used.

Beautiful, clean atmosphere! A huge selection to choose from. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The manager is very personable and kind. Highly recommend this place as an escape from the world into a good book.
