I very rarely find a company that goes out of their way to make things easier for the consumer. But I found one and it is Sonshine Medical. My battery cover broke on my electric wheelchair. I called a couple places but it was Austin, from Sonshine Medical that got right back to me. He ordered what I needed, called when it came in and I told him that I had to call the ADA bus to schedule a ride for the following day. I soon as I hung up, Austin called me back. He offered to bring the part to me and fix my wheelchair, in my apartment!! I told him that he did not have to do that but he would not accept my “no”. He told me that he would be over after his lunch break. Austin came over, spent about 15 mins fixing my wheelchair, all while having a pleasant conversation! He was so nice and very friendly. He charged me nothing to come to my apartment and these days, you just don’t find people like Austin and Sonshine Medical. Thank you very much!!

This is definitely a 5 star company for the handicap. I myself being obese , they worked with me . Great technician,s Austin and Adam were fantastic , paid attention to my needs .Service
was wonderful. I can’t say enough about this company. I would say these two technicians represent their company with a five star thumb’s up thank you guys Mike Nice

We had an emergency with my uncle. I called Sonshine at 8:05 am about a lift chair. By 12:30 in the afternoon it was delivered to the retirement village and he was in it. Austin was amazing to work with and I told him we were looking for a simple operated chair due to eyesight issues. He got my uncle's height and weight and sent me the brochure for a chair. It was EXACTLY what we were looking, in stock and delivered. I cannot recommend them enough. We also were given a discount and the value of the chair was excellent. Call them you won't be sorry. They have all kinds of items in stock. If o could give them a 10 I would.

My husbands scooter recently stopped working, and I took it in for repair. Although they weren’t able to fix the scooter the customer service and rapid response to the problems were great!!!

My wife and I worked with Austin to purchase an electric scooter suitable for plane travel. He was knowledgeable, patient, answered all our questions. We are very happy with the total experience. The price was very reasonable too.

This company goes above and beyond to make the customer happy. We couldn’t get a new chair (which was much needed) through insurance so Matt made sure we got parts ordered to make this chair fit my FIL’s needs.
I would really like to give more than 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I appreciated working with a Christian-based firm. and bought a chair lift, power chair and a 3-wheel scooter. The entire staff was friendly and always helpful, but Austin and Adam went above and beyond that. They were very knowledgeable, and especially patient when they explained how to use all our new equipment.

I want to start my review off by saying Adam at Sonshine Medical is AWESOME!!!My husband has a brain injury and can not walk so I had 2 stair lifts installed by another company..They stopped charging and my husband was stuck upstairs for 6 days..the company that installed it would not come out and fix it for us..this was completely stressful for both me and my husband..other companies I called either wouldn’t talk to me abt the issue or either charged too much to come out to look at it because we lived too far away..When I googled stairlift repair and called Sonshine, Adam was super nice..He was very knowledgeable abt the type of stairlift I have..When he came to the house he didn’t leave until it was working correctly..He fixed things that should of been done the right way when it was installed from the other company..After dealing with Adam, I will never call another company..He definitely deserves more than 5 stars..I wish I would of found Sonshine Medical in the first place to install my lift instead of the company I went with..Thank you so much Adam..

The initial contact with the company was great. "The salesperson will come right out to you." Great! Their sales pitch and customization measurements? Very helpful. But once the paperwork was signed, the sales help evaporated. When the wheelchair was ordered, salesperson said it was going to take 8-10 business days. It finally arrived 8 weeks later. No help at all from the sales department, and the front desk was clueless on why the order for was held up so long. And then, the person the wheelchair was custom-made for died after having the chair for less than two months. When I emailed sales to see if they had any ideas (would it be possible to resell a used wheelchair?) salesperson did not even bother to reply. Just keep in mind that you'll get the best service BEFORE you place the order.
