Sam's Club has transferred their phones overseas. It's not worth my time or the trouble to schedule rotating my tires anymore. Costco is opening up a warehouse three tenths of a mile away.

Think twice before you upgrade to a Sam's Plus Membership. The upgrade is easy, getting rid of it once you realize it has little value is a PIA. I tried, but could not find a way to calculate its dollar value. They might keep more customers if any additional savings were listed on the monthly statement. I tried to downgrade over the phone using their toll-free number. The other option is to stand in line and speak to someone in the Club. The first agent I spoke with gathered some information and then told me she had to hand me off to a 'membership specialist'. That put me on hold with a very loud commercial pushing Sam's benefits. Eventually a quite pushy specialist came on. He tried repeatedly to change my mind, even offering to extend my present membership for 6 months (after which I would have to go thru this same PIA process to downgrade again). I stood my ground and eventually got the downgrade. It was obvious neither agent's first language was English. Compounding my frustration with Sam's was their very thick accents which left me guessing at what they were saying.

I know it's hard to get employees, but many of the workers don't understand what customer service is and are rude. Curbside is a joke.

I really like the set up at this Sam's. I am used to the ones in California and this one was different. I liked the sushi area the choices were amazing and delicious we bought two platters. They were making the sushi right there. They don't offer that at ours. They also have a butcher block set up for meats. Everything looked amazing. Store was clean and stocked. Check out was a breeze, checker was very nice. They had lots of empty boxes available to pack our stuff in.

Quite possibly the worst store in the Sam's chain. The food I like is sketchy at times. And from September on, things get skimpy because space is now being gobbled up by Christmas displays, cookie tins, trees, decorations. It's so depressing. All I want is root beer made with cane sugar. It hasn't been available since August. I go every two weeks so, I'm familiar with-the whole store. I hate self check out. I shop alone so it's hard for me. I like having a cashier. They don't want us to interact with their employees. I'm wearing a mask. I comply. I try to get along. I hate seeing this store go cheap and gaudy. Parking lot is finally paved!!! That was a hassle, maneuvering around barricades. I also belong to Costco. If one opens closer to me, I'll leave sams. Vent over.

I went to this store to do a in-store pickup of an order. The parking for the pickups are by the exit and the pickup is at the exit. No signs or anything saying do not enter, exit only, use other door, nothing. I encountered a very rude not polite women when I entered. She said I had to go back out the exit and walk all the way around and come back to the exact spot I was already standing in. No please nothing. Very rude and nasty. So I walked out and back around to my same spot. She had a mask on but under her chin.bi thought they were supposed to.keep them on? She needs to be in a different department instead of dealing with the public. I like shopping at Sam's but will never use that store again I will order and go to another one.

I shop Sam's for just a handful of things when I pickup my prescription each month. I am very disappointed that Sams club no longer carries BookBinder cocktail sauce. Why? You sell seafood for goodness sake! And absolutely no sauce. Dumb.

Sam's club and I have a love/hate relationship. I love buying my paper goods, produce, some bakery items and some of my dry goods there. I have 2 problems with Sam's Club: #1 Their order ahead to be picked up outside is not reliable. When they first started curbside pickup and they didn't show up outside when you checked in, they blamed it on the app. They seemed to get that fixed for a short time. Now it's not reliable again. You check in and no one shows up outside with your purchase. You have to go inside and wait for them to find your order on the computer, collect your items and then you get to take your own things outside and find a place to park the flatbed cart. No one offers to take it out for you. Curbside pickup is supposed to make your life easier and make things more convenient. Curbside pickup at Canton Sam's Club is anything but easy or convenient! #2 You could avoid the whole curbside pickup and just order through Instacart, if you have it, which I do. The problem with this is that you are charged extra on every item you order through Instacart. I'm not talking a small charge either. It was almost $2 on just toilet paper. And why am I paying more? If they say its because their shoppers are shopping for you, they are shopping for you for curbside and you don't pay extra. So, I put an order in at 9am for curbside pickup and I can't pick up until the NEXT day, even though the site says order before 3pm and pick up same day. My theory on this: Their shoppers are busy filling the Instacart orders (where they make more money) so they don't have time to get to the orders for people who just carry they regular Sam's membership (or the people, like me, who don't think they should have to pay more to get things in a timely manner). Any way you look at this, it's bad customer service. And, yes, I have talked to Sam's club twice about these issues with no resolution before writing this review. I don't care how much I like what I get at Sam's Club, when my membership comes due I'm gone.

Very poor experience at the North Canton Ohio store and with a customer service phone call to . Deceptive signage, let us to believe that you save $8 on Member Mark products...we purposely bought (all Member Mark) paper towels, laundry detergent, paper plates and laundry softener- all of which had the sign by the products. Did not ring up correctly, cashier had the ad and said "yes" we did qualify....just take it up to Customer Service and they would give us the $8. Not a problem...the older blond lady took the ad and reviewed the cart, said the softener was not shown in the ad (mind you the cashier gave us the ad...we were going off the signs in the store). She left for about ten minutes to find the products and came back and advised the laundry softener did not qualify (during this time the rest of our ice cream, meat, etc is melting...we purchased $200+ worth of items, very typical for us twice a month). OK, really, are you saying we were lying about the signage??? I said fine...I just wanted to be refunded for the rest of my membership, she very tersely gave me a refund and sent me on my way. So much, for my patronage...guess you guys just don't care about your customers. She could have offered to let me return the items, speak with a manager about my displeasure with the deceptive signage or even gave me the $8 (I have spent thousands of dollars in this store...even bought a computer, cell phones-years ago, etc.) I just used the pharmacy for the first time about a month ago and the pharmacists was great to work with. What KIND of CUSTOMER Service is this??? Also, I did call your customer service phone number and spoke with Savannah...she started laughing at me at one point, so I hung up...again, very disappointing. I would never get away with this kind of behavior at my work place.

LOVE SAMS! I'm there all the time for food as well as cute clothes! The photo people are super nice and helpful. My only complaint with the store is how often the 1-hr machines are down. The eye guy is super great too!

I have never been so disrespected in my whole life I went into their store where I spend at least $1000 a month on groceries when I try to use my check because my card had been lost and had not gotten a new one yet they treated me as if I were some sort of thief or lowlife they refuse my check was rude when I spoke to the manager he basically acted as if he could care less whether or not I shopped in his store and I'll tell you this I won't be back you people are unconscionable. Shame on you Sam's Club

I love love Sam's club. I go every week. It doesn't replace my local grocer, but its amazing in the dry goods and frozen departments. Also good for cleaning and paper products in bulk. Christmas shopping is fun there as well.

Sams Clubs are great for the dry goods, some frozen items and really cheap vitamins and generic supplements. The clothes are hit or miss on price, so watch what you buy in that area. The bakery does have some good fresh bread, rolls and other pastries. Like others have said stay away from the produce especially the lettuce. The deli offerings are poor imitations of better deli offerings from local markets so try to avoid those too. If you know what you need, know your prices and stick to the better priced items you can save money.
