Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Everhard location yesterday in North Canton. I really can not believe we had to leave the room before 4am because we saw a roach on the wall! We smashed it and took a picture but left it on the wall and pack our things quickly after shaking everything out! We proceeded to tell the front desk and asked to speak to the manager, he said she would be in the morning and could reimburse our money for the room. I called around 7am the manager did not apologize or seem to care but said she could not do full refund because we had stayed from 3pm-350am but she could give us a discount. While I was appalled I had agreed to the discount which she said well I’ll just have the owner call you and he can decide what to do. I said so you are not doing the discount she then said no I’m gonna have the owner call you. No call back by 1120am so I called back she still hadn’t contacted him yet but said she would replay the message. 5 minutes later she calls me not the owner and said they would call an exterminator and depending on what they find they will go from there. I said what about the discount you offered she said I never said that! This woman straight lied to me after I repeated her words! Um excuse me your gonna look for the roach we smashed on your wall and took a photo of which you all refused to look at or acknowledge but was left stuck to your wall as proof! I then let her know this was not ok, unprofessional, and disgusting and they refused to do anything for me. No one wants to take bugs home to their family and leave in the middle of the night! I told her i am going to the better business bureu on monday to report this and she said ok and hung up! I come to this page and see nothing but horrible reviews. How are they open and why is no one reading these reviews and doing something? I’m adding to this review to let everyone know I have called so many places to report this hotel and it is hard to get them shut down. Our reviews are doing nothing for us and these ppl do know and admitted they have bugs and said they are still allowed to check ppl in. I’m hoping the fire marshall I’m in contact with can shut them down and the better business bureau is working on getting my money back. The best thing we can do is notify as many ppl as possible and shut them down from lack of business!

This room was a hot mess! I especially appreciated the cigarette burns on the edge of the shower/tub and toilet seat! No smoking room and all I smelled all night was smoke! Then there was the dirty floor, stuff left in the fridge, the water damage above the bed. Total ick factor ?I paid for 2 nights stay one, offered a refund but never got it!

I've called multiple times to book a conference room. I have been hung up multiple times and doesn't seem like the front desk employee doesn't understand English.

We stayed a week for a family emergency. We asked for room service multiple times and was never given. We stayed a total of 8 nights and had to get our own towels and toilet paper. Hot tub was not working. We were not allowed to bring our breakfast back to our room even though the room had a kitchen setup.

Never again! Rude, Nasty, Roaches, Milk water Pool! Recommend a exterminator and thorough cleaning of bedding. If I was a health inspector! It would be shut down. This must be the new Canton Inn! People arguing outside yelling up to rooms. Drunks smoking in the hall way. See what balling on a budget get ya! Lmfao!

I started out with a whirlpool room. Trash, tub dirty and room smelled like an ashtray. Second room, same thing. Downgraded my room and the room itself just wasn’t clean. I have pictures to support it. I turned the a/c unit on and dust flew out of it. Like are you kidding me dude!? Then the man get tried to argue with me about the cleanliness of my room. Staff doesn’t speak English nor does management, the front desk attendant was sweet as pie, deserves a raise and a new job. The manager walked away from me while making a complaint. I thought since the hotel had made renovations that it would be cool and I was VERY wrong. Now I have to spend more money to stay somewhere because they make you wait til check out the next day to get your refund! Stay FAR AWAY unless you like dirty rooms and bed bugs…

This place needs a total make-over. They have no business describing these rooms as suites and charging suite rates?!! The two beds are divided by a partial wall and you share a TV? The pictures speak for themselves (the pic of the dresser shows how they wedged a tattered towel to hold the drawer closed). We planned to stay 5 nights, only stayed 2 nights out of necessity only.. The first impression was the ac not working in the lobby. I will say the staff was pleasant even though they were confronted constantly with complaints.

The staff is the only thing in this establishment worth boasting about.The rooms are in much need of tlc. The halls and rooms are so dark. There's patches all over the ceiling and walls. The bathroom was dirty and so small you couldn't open the bathroom door all of the way because the tub was there. The floors in the room made your feet black, and there were stains on the bedding. The pool was ok, but the hot tub was broken and coned off, which would have been nice to know in advance. Breakfast was decent, and the location was close to a lot of things. Overall, it's the man at the front desk during check-in and the kitchen staff during breakfast that made this a 3-star stay. Without them, it would have been 1 star.

Still under construction changing over to Wingate. I wasn't made aware hot tub was not usable and pool water was way too cold. Room repairs were still ongoing. Sure after construction complete hot tub up and running I'll return and be able to change to a 5 star

Thee worst and grossest hotel experience I have ever had. Bed bugs were found in our room, then another family next door to us found them in theirs, then another group within the same half hour. Refunding was also a struggle, made us wait til the next morning. So we had to find another hotel for the rest of our stay. They tried to still charge us at least one day at the beginning of the complaint. also refused to refund another family. Be careful parking on the left parking lot, potholes everywhere.. you'd think it was a minefield. The staff clearly cares about just taking your money vs the safety of the public. Room 303 was our room. Bed bugs on both beds. We have pictures and videos. The other group that checked out when we did said their first room had bedbugs and was gross. They were offered a second room same, but it was the same situation in that room. That room was 310. I would never stay in this hotel ever again. When I went to the front desk to explain why we were not staying all he did was shrug his shoulders and say it happens. He was not fazed by the fact they had bed bugs nor did he try to deny it. One can assume that they clearly knew about the bed bug situation and only hope no one notices. You were warned! Do Not Stay Here!Noteworthy details: Bed bugs are really bad problem here. Staff knows it, and they still allow people to check in. They think the renovations are covering up the lack of staff cleaning, smells, and grossness everywhere in the hotel.

This location is by far the worst place I've ever stayed @. The staff was inept & rude. We found a used washcloth in the bathroom. Apparently, during check in the clerk gave us the wrong room key & so upon arrival from our event we were given our luggage that someone else had brought to the front desk. Several of my items were left in the room & it took an act of god & 15 minutes to retrieve them. Why not book the next guests in another room instead of handling our luggage. The whole fiasco took @ least an hour to remedy & we left & went home instead. AVOID THIS PLACE @ ALL COSTS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place even if you must sleep in your car.It appears this must be a residential hotel as many guest were just hanging out & milling about. Upon arrival, a visibly very intoxicated individual approached us & made us both feel very uncomfortable. Being an avid heany metal music fan, it takes alot to make me feel uncomfortable in the way this man did. After check in & while we were unloading our car, he approached us again. To his credit, he left us alone when requested to do so. I will not be staying @ this hotel ever.Noteworthy details: I don't like to give negative reviews because I never know what was the cause of situations like this. This instance however, was so over the top bad. I felt it is necessary to warn future travelers. I have stayed in Wyngate properties before but never one as bad as this. It is by far, the #1 dump in Ohio.

This is a terrible place to stay. The 1st room had dirty clothes and dirty towels in the dresser drawer then the room they moved us to had bed bugs. I will never stay there again. We were there about 2 hours before we left. Luckily we found another hotel not too far away.
