We have been taking our fur babies to Lake Cable Animal Hospital for about 5-6 years now, and I can confidently say Dr. Watters is without a doubt the most knowledgeable veterinarian in Stark County. She genuinely cares about her patients, and will do everything in her power to give her patients the best care possible. She is very thorough during her examinations, as well as during conversations. She makes sure to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding your pet. Not only is she kind, she is genuine. Truly. As someone who has been to other veterinarians in Stark Country, Dr. Watters is the only vet I’ve come across who’s top priority is the wellbeing of your pet, and who is as kind as she is. Her staff is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. You will always get a call back in a timely fashion if they ever need to speak with Dr. Watters regarding your pet. Ken, the head Veterinary Technician, also deserves high praise. Ken is calm under pressure in high stake situations, and has the knowledge to take the necessary actions in any given scenario.
Overall, Dr. Watters and her staff at Lake Cable Animal Hospital are as high class as they come. I can assure you your pets will receive the upmost care in their hands.

Care & staff are excellent. Not thrilled about the mask mandate but cannot deny that the care is excellent there. My animals love the staff

I wouldn't trust anyone else in a time of stress and fear. Dr Watters and her whole team navigate the word vomit of panicked pet parents in a way that fuels trust and reduces the anxiety. Stanley has never been a great and cooperative patient but there's something about this team and Dr Watters that spoke to him.THANK YOU.

We are patients. Our family dog of 15 started going down hill fast on Tuesday. They were closed on Weds at noon. Could not get in. I called Thursday 8:15 am. They said take her to the ER pet. They have no Appt. ER wanted $150 just to see her.. 2nd callto Lake Cable Office made an Appt for Saturday. She was even sicker and weaker later that day Thursday. Third call crying and begging just to have her put to sleep we live in Lake Cable. Asked if I could please bring her in. They put me on hold. "The Dr. Said No" Take her to Stark Vet ER. I called They said $480 to put her to sleep 60 pound dog. She died in my arms just a short time later. I called today to cancel the Saturday Appt and tell them she passed, died in my arms and that the Vet with kindness could have helped us. She very VERY COLD HEARTED SAID FLAT ANNOYED SAID I MEAN DEAD PAN. "I'm sorry to hear that I'll relay what you said, is there anything else I can help you with?" I hung up stunned.

I absolutely love Dr. Watters and her staff. Everyone is so warm and caring and they treat everyone both animals and pet parents with respect. She sees all of my fur babies and I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. They offer recommendations but never push anything on you and make sure all decisions are yours.

When I woke up and found my Cat ill and had no idea why, I called my vet of 23 years. They said oh next Friday we can get her in. What??? So I called my friends Vet (Lake Cable Animal Hospital) and they got me in within the hour. I was SO appreciative of their help. I will be using them from now on.

Took my dear boy to this vet. She was very nice but her staff could use some training. Anyway wanted me to just send my dog in by himself. I do understand these are difficult times. But that’s like asking you to send your young child into the drs office by themselves. AND WHO WOULD DO THAT. !!!!!!!!! Already found another vet. When I told them why I was switching and ask about their policy they assured me they would never ask me to send my pup in alone. Don’t take your pets here.

Dr. Watters and the staff at Lake Cable Animal Hospital are wonderful. Ive never been disappointed with scheduling or wait times. Both my girls go there but today Lulu gave me a bit of a scare with getting sick and not acting right. She spent a couple hours in the office getting tests and after talking to the doc all my worry is put to rest (Dr Watters is so personable and kind), my girl got some medicine, and she’s back to sitting on my lap purring - something I desperately missed while she wasn’t feeling well.

It’s not everyday you can call a vet clinic and get right in especially a busy clinic, I called because one of our pets passed away and I was told to bring him right in. We had him privately cremated because he meant so much to us! Even though the staff was busy with other animals and surgery I got right in. My fiancé was very attached I got him a paw print and Ken the vet tech had brought it out and wanted to see what I thought first which meant a lot! They turned out perfect! Now we have him returned to us and we couldn’t be more relieved and grateful! Dr. Watters is a very caring vet and I couldn’t ask for a better staff!

Never again will i take a pet to this vet. The one guy that works here is wonderful! I unfortunately didnt catch his name the one time we saw him. But past that, the staff is snippy, and cares about nothing but money. They jump straight to medicines and tests without fully listening to the issue, and dont ever offer a cheaper option (over the counter meds, etc)Example:I took my dog out to use the bathroom one day and she had blood in her stool. So, i called them and explained the situation and they told me to bring her in as soon as i can, and they may even keep her to run tests. No big deal. Except i didnt get paid (and therefore couldnt pay them) until the next day. They put me on hold for quite a while (so long, i thought theyd hung up) and when the lady came back she simply said "put her on a bland diet. That should fix it"Now i dont know if theyre money hungry, taking advantage of people, and running unnecessary tests, or if they just dont care about the patients when you cant pay immediately. Either way, i will never take an animal back here, and i strongly recommend that no one else does either.
