I sent my children there for 4 years. It started off nicely. They seemed to have a good staff and they seemed to be attentive to our kids. Once my second child started going there (at 8 weeks old), things went downhill. On the second day she received an incident report. A teacher was changing her and bumped her head on the shelve above. I tried to stay calm, things happen. Later, my youngest daughter had three incidents of an older child biting her. Three times this happened. I requested to have the child separated from mine. I then received an incident (at 1.5 years old) that my daughter's arm was pulled out of the socket. She wanted a drink from the drinking fountain and the teacher would not let her and pulled her away by grabbing her arm. Things seemed to calm down as she went into the toddler rooms. I love Ms. Taylor, Ms. Christina, and the newer Ms. Britani. I then saw a disturbing situation with the afternoon preschool teacher last week (10/10/18). I saw the female teacher screaming at the kids, she hovered over them, completely red faced and screaming. She pulled one kid off by grabbing her arm. I stood there and made sure she knew I was watching. I called my husband as I drove away, asking what I should do and if I should report it. I have debated numerous times on if I should change where my kids go or if I was over protective or overreacting. I honestly stayed because they were opened past 6pm and with traffic it was a safety net. My oldest daughter rides the KK bus but has been late 4 times so far this year (not even a semester in). The final straw came this week. When KK gave the families 10 days to find new bussing. They will no longer bus the students because the bus that the kids use is "too expensive to fix and this is the best business decision for us." This forced us to finally move on, despite all the reasons why we should have earlier. I am not a perfect parent but sometimes convenience wins out. I would not recommend that students attend this facility. It does have a few amazing teachers but the turnover is high and many of the new hires are far from superior. I regret staying as long as we did but I am excited for our new adventure as a family.
