Often took my elderly parent their to rummage. But the new VIP pay to shop has turned the place into a nightmare.
Having to pay to dig thru filthy dirty items? Resellers and professional garage salers have totally ruined this place.
Pushing, elbowing people out of the way, being fussed at by employees because you don't qualify to look at certain bins.
It no longer a safe place to be for anyone who isn't able to shove back.

Twice now I have come here and felt dissatisfied. The pilot program of “best bins” is the most ridiculous grab for money I have ever seen. Never have I ever seen somewhere where I have to pay to shop. This program is essentially designed to favor re sellers. And even if you do decide to waste you money on it they are typically sold out due to all the resellers. To make matters worse not only are resellers picking out anything nice but the employees are also grabbing things out of the “best bins”. I witnessed an employee during their shift roll out a new bin then proceed to grab and add a beautiful chest to their own cart they keep at the front then also witnessed him looking up online how much it would sell for. What is the point of the average person who ACTUALLY wants that chest for their home going if I stand no chance of finding anything nice. On a final positive note. There are two employees there a woman and male cashier who are the most wonderful and friendly people. They are the only positive of this store

Ok kinda cool, but filthy , GW should start a place where some of the stuff that is just busted up an filthy is free to whom ever will take it, saves on trash cost an time, so bins are full of scrap/trash items. Good find of clothes for super cheap. winter coats as well. Just wash em asap. mostly bc all the nasty stuff that gets tossed in the bins.

I'd just like to thank this location for not throwing anything away. My stepdad threw out bagfulls of me, my mom, and my sisters things two years ago, & its taken that long to find & bring 90% of it back. Unless you've had an interview to possibly be hired at this location you only THINK you know whats going on because you LIVE there as CUSTOMERS paying for vip...? ??? This is NOT the last stop before the landfill because they throw NOTHING AWAY, so you are not the end all be all. Yes the vip is kind of a scam, it is the same old stuff with a little bit of the new arrivals from other stores that didn't sell on top...to stop the resellers from running over the old people & to keep their type in one area while making money off not kicking them out before they breakout in a fight ??. Also, they dont have time to pick through the piles to sell online, they have the same ½hour you do, to undo everything you guys just did if they find something and put it aside its because that employee is going to buy it, aka they get REAL first pick vip?. So instead of complaining you could make all your goodwill reselling dreams come true by working there, if your happy with BEING PAID $12 an hour, considering YOU PAY $3 an hour, I'd say that's a good deal for you!
Thank you Goodwill, for holding on to my family's "junk" till I find it again ?❣️

The staff is great!!
The outlet store could use a larger retail area. I prefer this outlet over Akron's. I idrive from cambridge, ohio, just to shop at this outlet..I'm only giving a 3 star review because of the VIP area. All you have done is add extra workload to the staff. There wasn't anything special on those tables. Roping off the area takes up so much space! Please go back to how it was before.. you know the old saying, :if it's not broke don't fix it"

Well Thanks to this new stupid VIP idea I stopped going months ago. I spent about $800 a month or more there for my resale business for years. And I know at least 7 people who stopped going too because of this dumb new idea. I've been to Goodwill bins all over the USA and have never seen this $3. VIP every hour idea. Super DUMB IDEA! I hope the numbers reflect a loss at the end of their quarter and they drop the VIP.

Love the workers but unfortunately do not like the best bins. Go back to normal. Goodwill gets these clothes for free. No need to spend extra to get first dibs. Goodwill is going downhill, trying to make more money, instead of valuing customers.

Used to come here all the time. Staff is great but this whole new VIP bin thing is garbage and until it’s gone, I won’t be back. I used to come all the way from Cleveland too. This is a last chance place before things get throw away and yet you make a vip area. What a joke. Total greed.

I hope you have your vaccine for Hepatitis B before you start digging through the clothes bins. Since donations aren't cleaned before being sold and the clothing isn't being put on hangers it's easy for things like feces to end up in the bins customers are digging through because the donations are just dumped in all together. The employees don't put anything out if they notice it is contaminated, but sometimes they don't catch it and a customer digging for bargains ends up finding a public health issue instead.
If you're not going to be kept from thrifting I'd at least suggest wearing gloves and pay attention to what you're touching.
I don't enjoy writing this review about Goodwill. I have bought many things there through the years. After graduating from highschool I got my first office position and needed clothes that looked more "professional". I couldn't afford to go out and buy a bunch of new outfits so I got my work wardrobe started at Goodwill over 30 years ago. I've never seen any cleanliness issues at other locations. If employees aren't hanging items up individually like at the other Goodwill stores, it will be much easier for problems to get past them and on to the sales floor.

This is a mixed review. First and foremost, this Outlet has an outstanding top-notch staff and they deserve 10 stars. The managers and cashiers are dealing with a lot at this location but remain kind and cheerful. The new VIP sections have burdened the employees with a larger work and stress load and it takes extra long for the bins to be switched. VIP bins not only make more work for the staff, this new plan lets the ones who feel "entitled" to all the good stuff stalk the outside of the bins for 30 minutes planning what they are going to grab. Secondly, if you long for high school days, this is the place to be. Lots of cliques, bullying, back-stabbing, whispering, fights breaking out, etc... Summary: Be prepared to be pushed and elbowed in the head while digging and mistreated by some very rude people. P.S. Don't forget to bring your gym shoes. Note to Corporate: Don't reply to this as I have zero respect or care for your opinion. You don't have a clue what is going on from your office chair. Until you have been "in the trenches" at this place, you don't understand. I challenge you to come manage this place for a few weeks or throw yourself into the bins to shop for a day. Then let me have your opinion.

This place is horrible. The workers are great people and it’s always great seeing them but the higher ups ruined it all. They added a new system called the “best bins” which is 100% false advertising. They’re the same exact bins they would roll out before, you just get 30 minute early access. You have to pay $3 every hour to get access to them. Buying this is quite literally the same thing as throwing $3 in a pit of fire which I would rather do than give my money to these greedy people. Just greedy business man that want an extra couple thousand dollars a year. Goodwill is supposed to be for the people, yet they keep adding programs to just earn more profit per year. They run a whole reselling business (e-commerce) their selves and try to get the absolute top dollar they can with the stuff they get for FREE. Can find their e-commerce with a simple google search or they even have an app on the App Store. When we pressed the greedy higher ups about this they tried lying to our face saying they don’t. This business is a pure example of the most unethical business you can have.

I had never been to these outlets before, until today. It had been explained to me that there are a limited amount of “spots” upon store opening to purchase a “VIP” spot, to get to “the best bins” (they are literally called that) Unfortunately, these have been swooped up by mophead kids in Grateful Dead shirts who think they know something about vintage clothing. They get the first go at everything, and then a half hour later, the rest of us get to go through all the junk. These rotten little teens got dropped off by mommy and daddy to run amok around Goodwill and get all the good stuff just because they convinced their parents to get out of bed on their day off and drop them off early.
Absolutely pathetic. I will never be back here.

Used to love this place now it’s full of rude costumers that will elbow you and throw things at you, with no remorse or apology. Not to mention the fact you have to pay 3$ an hour to dig through the bins they deem to have anything of value. You are free to go to the bins that are full of trash, and bed bugs carcasses ??♀️??♀️

This place use to be the BEST but since have turned for the WORST!!!! Allowing dealers to buy spots to view new merchandise prior to public to then mixing clothes and other stuff in bins(saftey hazard in my book and inefficient for workers I hear from employees) My kids and I loved to come here my will refrain till it changes back! Goodwill please review this site!!!
