This is the last Fisher Foods left. This store is not a bad store at all. This place has a lot of nice aesthetics. However there is quite a few empty sections, and bare shelves which doesn’t look good.

I've been grocery shopping at Fishers Foods while I still lived at home, as a teen! (Many moons ago!) Fishers always has a well stocked produce and meat dept, and many different varieties of other foods. Sadly, this is the only Fishers Foods left, and I don't mind driving the extra mileage, to help support a local, family owned grocery store. My sister drives all the way from Akron to do her shopping at the Jackson Twp store. I'd give it 10 stars, if I could, that's how much I enjoy shopping at Fishers Foods!

Last one standing. Is sad that it's come to this. Bright back memories going in there.

I had to stop and think about a review for the last of the Fishers stores. I used to always shop the Perry store until I moved, and the Massillon store was much closer, and I shopped there. Within a few years, the Massillon store closed, so I bit the long drive to Perry. Now Perry store is also closed, and the only Fisher's store still in business is the Jackson store. I've always been a firm believer in shopping locally owned stores, and now I'm left wondering how much longer this Fisher's will be around. At any rate, if you'd like to shop at Fisher's, use the front entrance. The side entrance takes you into the " wine & spirits" section of the store. The dairy section is located just beyond the alcohol. I didn't really have time to explore the entire store, but there were only a handful of shoppers and 2 checkout registers open. What Fisher's needs to do is to hire a personal shopper who can shop at other stores to compare prices. I can't tell you how many people now shop at the other chain stores because Fisher's prices were just too high.My last comment is about how many people lost their jobs due to Fisher's closing down so many stores. You make friends with the employees, and I don't know what's happened to any of them.It makes me very upset to see what has happened. Back in the 60s , everyone shopped at Fisher's. I sincerely hope that the grandson can get shoppers coming back to the store.Personally, I'll drive to the Jackson store and watch to see what happens next. I hope you will, also!

I’ve gone to this Fisher’s Foods for a few years. I usually purchase hot foods and on occasion I will buy their bakery items. I’ve had pretty good experiences with them until today. I ordered chicken and jo-jo's, and when I bit into a jo-jo it was cold. The chicken was also cold. I went to “customer service” to resolve the matter. I asked to speak to a manager, and “head cashier” presumed that I wanted a refund. My hope disappeared when she took it upon herself to give me a refund with no attempt until the end of the return transaction to get the attention of the manager. I then said never mind and left with my receipt for the return in hand. I’m not sure what is happening at this store, but from the looks and service it seems as if they are going out of business. At least the morale and emptiness of the store echoed that. Ohhhhh…don’t try to call the stores either. You will be prompted to leave a message.

Terrible! I heard they're in a bad situation so I stopped at the main Fulton Rd store to get some of my favorite items that only Fishers sells. Yes it looks bad and to think our fathers and mothers used to faithfully shop there.

Store had a lot of bare shelves and when I asked if they were going out of business the cashier was extremely rude.
