Belpar is the only place I trust with my kiddos. Every person there cares deeply for the animals and it shows with every interaction.

My 11 year old cat, Tipper lost her appetite and as a result, lost a lot of weight. She lost interest in her toys and had no energy. I thought I was going to lose her. We brought her to Belpar as a last effort. Dr. Michael McAndrew checked and tested her. He had such a nice, gentle way with her. He was very informative, helpful, and suggested several medications, which we gave her. It is now around 3 weeks later, and she's back to her old self. She's gained weight, is eating, and playing with her toys again. I'm so thankful to Dr. Michael for giving back her health. Everyone at the Centre was friendly, and helpful.

Our dog was having breathing problems and our vet was closed. They got us right in, ran a couple of tests and talked things over with us, then gave us enough meds unti we see our vet. They were very careful with her and did their best to not upset her, they did a fantastic job! They made sure to answer all our questions, they were very thorough! Would highly recommend them!

Our dog was having breathing issues and our vet was closed, Belpar Pet Care took us in and checked her out, ran some tests, and gave us enough meds until we can see our vet. They treated her with care ( she can be testy at times). They did everything they could to keep her calm and she did great! I highly recommend them!

The vets here are wonderful and really care about animals! We switched over from a vet clinic that was all about money and the pet was way down the priority ladder! You won't be disappointed in this office!

Kay takes the absolute best care of my boy while he stays at the “kitty hotel” aka their boarding. She loves on him as if he were her personal animal and sends picture and text updates to let me know how he’s doing while he’s there. What a great experience it has been these last few times and we will continue to go there as long as she is there! The rest of the staff has been wonderful as well saying how much they enjoy my cat being there and loving on him. Thank you! I feel at peace knowing he’s being taken care of and the updates are a bonus!

Starting from the start…Dr Meluch helped my 16 yo geriatric corgi-golden mix. Dr Meluch was amazing, kind, and helped me more than she’ll ever know. Six months later, I had a corgi puppy and wanted my new girl to know Dr Meluch too. Set my kiddo up at Belpar and off we go…- 6 mo old, my puppy is tagged “muzzle” in her file. They don’t tell me that they muzzled her - the tech just tells me they had “to give her a party hat”. I totally respect the need for muzzles and safety…my issue is, respect the muzzle and it’s use. Don’t infantilize me or my pup and call it a “party hat”. Be professional please- we go back ~8 mos later…I’m still fine w the orange “muzzle” tag on my ~15 month old pup’s file…andddd “Party hat” again. This time they get a few nails trimmed before the muzzle. It’s good tho, they’re letting her learn and try- today, she’s 18 mos old, and in for annual visit. Again I flag they muzzled before but I’d like her to try to learn. Tech is super cool, same one as before, we’re fine. I put my puppy on the table when the vet comes in and holy schmoly, he’s got zero personality- for us or our pup. No bedside manner w us or our 18 mo old, he asks me about her eating and drinking and grabs her face, force opening her mouth. Tech has her in a neck hold and my pup is terrified…she pees herself and the table, she’s growly and horrifically upset. I’m apologetic.- we just want thru it…he’s got a hold on her mouth, her jaw, and she’s terrified…I get it, I try to soothe the 26.8 lb corgi on the table, talk to her and get her to make eye contact with me..she’s focused on just me. .She’s calming, she’s not growling, screaming, or bearing teeth - I’ve my own hands around her face and calm her w massage and voice. Her eyes are on me and she’s quivering but not growling or snarling- vet is mad, visibly angry and mad…he gets super close to my face and tells me that I “should not tell her she’s a ‘good girl’ like that, that you cannot praise her like that”. Again, he’s inches from me- husb is watching all 3 of us, me, the vet, the tech…he jumps in…he says he’s done various training methods and you always praise the behavior you want to see, and that it’s exactly what i did. Hubs tells him we’re here for medical care, not training advice- hubs was right…we stopped the rest of the appt and left. The vet was the owner of the practice…I left trembling and shaken, he was inches from my face, scolding me for soothing my 18 mo old terrified dog. I was afraid of his confrontational style with me, with his dominance- I’d have honestly rather they muzzled her. My pup bounced back quickly- as they so often do - but I did not. I felt patronized, scolded, and like I had an “alpha” guy in my personal space disproportionately angry at me and my 18 mo old 26.8 lb dog. Seriously tho…just muzzle pups if you’re in fear, it’s ok, and don’t get all weird w the “party hat” nonsense, it’s a muzzle, call it by name and respect its use- I wish I could see Dr Maluch or any of the other vets and techs, but it’s not worth the risk of getting Dr Gainey again..it was honestly the worst vet experience I think I’ve ever had (over easily 3 decades), and so unnecessary for just annual vax’s and a 26.8 lb pup that could’ve been muzzled if Dr Gainey was afraid or concerned
