By far the worse insurance company I have ever dealt with. First of all, who doesn't have employees working around the clock. I tried to get my prescription filled earlier in the week, they said I had to wait. So I go to pick it up 5 days later and still can't get it. Now, I am without Diabetic medication because no one is in office. Their mail order prescription company is worse than the insurance company. I will never choose them again.

They keep denying any claim we have with my 9 year old. They keep citing paperwork even though we’ve filled out everything we possibly can.

If I had the option to give no stars I would. Representatives in their billing department are rude and unwilling to to help with concerns. All they want is to bark at you to make sure they get their money, no matter what the circumstance. Try a little empathy, understanding and kindness, especially with the elderly in need. Shame on you Autlcare billing representatives, I paid my bill, you are too lazy to follow up with the agency you need to get the money from and that's not me. So your best is to send my erroneous bill to a collection agency?!?!? No, that's the lazy, not nice thing to do.
I reached out to the billing department twice, at the number they suggested I call, and spoke to them about this. It was after those encounters with their so called "patient advocates" that I was told, "pay by this date or it is going to a collection agency." I even sent the department an email with 7 attachments to verify I paid my out of pocket amount for services and durable goods rendered. That proof made no difference to them. So please don't call these people "patient advocates", they did absolutely nothing to help me!

Using your provider directory was a waste of time. Looking for a provider in NJ and 0 come up. Plenty in Canton Oh if I wanna drive there..... I went to call you but alas, you close at 5pm. NOT convenient at all. Reminder, I and my company pay a fair amount that goes up every year, for my health care. Very disappointed.

Run don't walk away from this company. With 20 years insurance background in claims their service is horrible, borders on fraud. Only insured by them several months. Have filed 4 appeals, 1 denied, 1, request for external review. If they are not settled in a positive manor and in accordance with the policy of insurance. We will file complaints with the Ohio Department of Insurance. They do not want to pay anything. AultCare provided an insurance card. They do not even follow co-pay amounts noted on the front of the card. For what it's worth, Years ago, I was asked by the Cleveland court system to be an umpire to help settle Insurance appraisal situations, so I am some what of an expert. Believe me think twice, before picking AultCare, or you will be sorry. Update 06-02-2023 Have filed 4 appeals, thus far 2 have been denied, so I requested an Independent External review for both of them. The external reviews are are their way to the Ohio Department of Insurance. The only way to change their ways, everyone needs to bury them in paper work. What an awful insurance company

I have been waiting for a call back from someone who can give me details about what they allow for billable charges on my plan. The only thing I keep getting told is we can't tell a doctor how to bill and they are billing an allowable amount. Who is doing your contracts at Aultcare? No doctor should be allowed to bill $1200 for a follow up appointment and an xray. You say it's allowed, but at my plan renewal time you'll hit me with a crazy percentage increase because you are allowing a provider to bill this high. This can't be right and I would have expected my request to have this looked into further have been handled, and as of now it's not handled. Have to get pain meds authorized, my thyroid medication authorized etc and pay over $6,000 a month to have your insurance. I want answers on this and I am not getting them!

Took my daughter to ortho doctor, not sure if she tore a ligament. Scheduled a MRI a week out and here I am, still pending insurance and she is in pain. Had to reschedule MRI appointment and follow-up appointment with ortho for another week out. I guess kids are not in school and parents do not work, Thanks Aultcare.

These guys are ripoff artists who only care about their bottom line. Avoid at all costs if possible. I spoke with them twice. Once I was really irate and the second time I was calmer. I felt bad for the customer service lady they basically know they aren't helping the people that pay for their services but just don't offer any solution to try and help you. If we lived in a just world the owners of this company would probably be in jail. Lol.
