I have a 2 year membership and the card in file expired. I called the gym 3 times and left messages to add a new card. I went into the gym twice and no one was in the office. My fob will be shut off in 2 weeks unless someone gets back to me. A poor way to run a gym.

Ownership doesn't seem to handle criticism well. "GM" just sits in the office the whole day unless he's talking to some female. They have something like 23 or 24 reviews in the last year and 15 or 16 of them are 2 star or less, so the quality of the staff and gym is obviously going way down hill.

After cancelling my membership I was informed that I would still have to pay for the following 30 days which was indeed in the contract I signed. However, they are attempting to charge me for an additional 2 weeks because by technicality there were still 2 days left in the 30 day cancellation contract. Before all that, gym changed ownership, wasn’t cleaned or maintained, always had an odor. Machinery started breaking and not maintained. I’ll update this when I find out how much this company is trying to rip me off. (Former member of 3 years)

Whatever you do, don’t sign up for text message alerts. I’ve been messaged by “Michael” about 15 times and keep trying to stop messages but they keep coming through every so often. After they get cancelled I get a message saying it’s cancelled. Then a week or so later I get a message thanking me for signing up for emails. Maybe “Michael” is trying to hit his sign up quota?

I like this spot, but they play their music too loud. I have noise canceling headphones and can still hear the music no matter where I’m at in the gym. 90% of people workout with headphones anyway. Please turn off/ turn down the music, or maybe lower raise the volume depending on the time of day.

I was At the New Castle Anytime fitness for at least 14 years. That’s a long time. There is a clique of “important” members That frequent the morning hours and They aren’t nice people. One Specific woman From that Specific click likes to draw attention to herself. @ first she would blatantly stare at me, And at first, I didn’t care, and then it became Conspicuous gawking at me. I’m talking about That makes you uncomfortable and then she would point me and talk To other members of the gym. I brought it to Managements attention and They downplayed it as unimportant. I told Management that it was a form of harassment, and this woman would also follow me, And I got nowhere. Also Managment Fines necessary to write scripture on a blackboard, and I believe that there should be a separation between Church and State especially when There is one-sided hypocrisy behind It.

The gym is fine. Does what it needs. Unfortunately, the ownership and customer service is terrible and unprofessional. I would advise anyone looking at this place to go elsewhere.

Cancelled a membership three weeks ago and was lied to when they said I would get a refund and after calling three or four times still received nothing and just today I was charged for a second payment when I'm not longer a member there and have been waiting weeks for a refund.

I found this anytime fitness location to be very good!The size is pretty reasonable, a tonne of equipment: cardio, weights machines and free weights/ strength gear. 3 bathrooms, 2 showers, work outs ideas on a bunch of boards across the gym. Good amount of cleaning products available, if you need these, water fountains, cubby holes for storing your things, easy access and very visible first aid.I travel all for work, and feel very excited to have found this location as a new brunch to go to.Many thanks :)
