This used to be my preferred Y location for about 20 years because it’s close to my home & met all my fitness needs; it is now my least favored. They close too early, if you get off work at 5 & have to pick up children & get through city traffic to get here, you’ll be lucky to get a 45 min workout cause they close promptly at 8pm. The staff is rude & pushy and could use a lesson on professionalism. The YMCA used to be a family oriented safe welcome environment for kids, under the new management, they show little respect to the elderly or the kids. The staff is inconsistent with the rules, & when I brought it to the attention of management, the man working the workout space attempted to overtake me, interrupt me & was down right disrespectful. . I will be looking for a new home facility starting this week!

Water fitness is amazing ..Love the instructor Georgja she’s amazing!!!! a scholar in her craft….Location convenient ,staff amazing nothing but all great things.

The only one piece I would want done different is the swamp close to the ymca.... either to be cleared of the algae or filled.... that may be a work of the city though...

Not a lot of weights(free) for the cost. You're paying for the pool,basketball court and being indoors for the winter weather. Lifting weights could be a challenge due to having to wait for turns because of a major lack of equipment.

Went here with my sister-in-law while I was in Columbus Ohio they have a lot of equipment to work out on nice atmosphere

I primarily use the YMCA, approximately 90% of the time, for my workouts and that's what my rating is for. Over the years of working out at the Garver YMCA, I've noticed that the equipment is only rearranged and not updated. Comparing it to the Reynoldsburg YMCA, which I understand is a newer facility, it is evident that the equipment at Garver should have been upgraded long ago. Given the smaller size of Garver's workout facility, it becomes even more crucial to keep it up to date with the latest equipment. I would love to see improvements such as new workout benches, weights, and machines. Considering the growth in our area and the increasing number of people visiting the YMCA, ensuring that the Garver YMCA is just as well-equipped as the Reynoldsburg YMCA should be a priority.

I just visited this place with a family member and we had fun. The swimming pool was clean and quiet when we went and the facility was clean.

This is a great location. Staff is very polite, respectful, and they're great with the campers. I would highly recommend this location. The only downside is the atmosphere around this location. It is on the edge of a terrible neighborhood and around this place isn't very family friendly.

I'm currently at the Canal Winchester YMCA POOL the pool staff is rude, always changing rules when it comes to BLK kids. I advise people go to the Reynoldsburg location.

Pool staff is friendly and knowledgeable/skilled at their jobs. Very limited family swim times make it crowded and hard to work on skills learned during swim lessons.

I typically like this place however I went on a Sunday, I had my disabled aunt with me and the staff were extremely rude telling us to hurry up and clapping us out. She has a drop foot due to a stroke but they didn't care they were rude mean and nasty to us. Walked us out the building as if we were try not to leave. They made us so uncomfortable it was ridiculous!
