I’ve lived here going on 5 years. Sadly I’m looking for a 2 bedroom so my stay here ends. I love my apartment, it’s small and quiet. The office people are very nice and helpful and also understanding. Trust me I give them a headache lol. When I need something fix they fix it in a timely manner. I have my own drive way so don’t have to worry about not having a spot when I get off work. Haven’t had any bug issues which I’m happy about because these other apartments I’m looking at seem to have a big problem with roaches. One thing is my neighbors. I don’t complain to the office about them. I just ignore them. I’m sure they complained about me. My neighbor always tells me what I can or can’t do with MY apartment ( inside and outside) The list goes on. But i really need a 2 bedroom. Thank you Chartwell for everything my son and I appreciate it more than you know.

I came to this complex bc my mom had just died and I gained custody of my sister. I gave PROOF that I'm in charge of my sisters income of over $1700 with BANK STATEMENTS and letters. I gave PROOF that my own income of over $1500 goes in the same bank account with MY NAME on it, with PAYSTUBS. Into the same bank account with my name on it. Therefore, it's mine. Without a check of my rental history, job history, or anything, they didn't even put the application through. Just called me to tell me that it's not my income so I'm denied. It is my income! I've lived in my current apartment for three years. Worked at my job for over three years. All I wanted was a ranch apt with her own room bc she's disabled. However, I needed to show more proof.

I’ve lived here for almost four years and have absolutely loved it. The complex itself looks more like a neighborhood than a regular complex thanks to the ranch-style set up. It also means there are no neighbors above or below you. The patio is nice and with the layout everyone pretty much has their own yard space. It’s definitely worth having a garage too during winter. It truly feels like more of a home than an apartment. Granted, I live alone, but there is so much space here - it definitely is the most bang for your buck in this area. The neighbors are friendly and quiet; it helps that most of the renters seem older. The complex is right next to Blacklick trail with is very convenient for anyone who likes to exercise alone, with kids (as there’s a playground there), or with pets. Deborah gets back to you very timely with any concerns you have, and Jeff is very helpful with maintenance. During COVID-19, they automatically put everyone on a month to month lease with no increase in payment, which I thought was incredibly nice of them, because should anyone need to leave there was no penalty in buying out the lease. I’ve felt safe here and have never had any packages missing from my porch. I love being right around the corner from Kroger and close to Pickerington as well. This is truly a great place to live!

I wish I could give this place a "0" rating. The maintenance guy was okay. Debbie, the office manager was rude and unprofessional. If you reported a tenant issue she would tell you to call the cops. She refused to help in any way. I know of 2 families she evicted because they reported unruly tenants. She is very mean, rude and unprofessional. If you ask why they won't renew your contract she states we don't have to tell you. This is totally unacceptable. I am a senior and not a teenage camper. I was so shocked by her unprofessionalism. DO NOT rent from this nut case. She needs to take he psychotropic meds before coming to work. Please go elsewhere before fooling with this nut job!!!

The apartment manager Debbie is a non caring person. If you report a problem tenant to her she will not renew your lease. She does not care about the tenants at all. Do not rent from hete unless you want trouble. She is basically useless.

I've enjoyed living in this community for less than a year & plan to live here for years to come. The Staff is professional and the property has been well maintained.I enjoy the community atmosphere & that no one is living above or below me. These conditions are helping my transition to apartment living to be positive.

My family and I lived in one of these apartments for almost 3 years. The first items to fall off were the cheap closet doors. The drains were slow, and dripping under each sink, garbage disposal broke down. Residents were complaining of rodents. Each time, my husband and I spoke with the maintenance man, he stated all the equipments were old and needed changed. However, nothing was done about it. My husband works in construction and fixed all the issues. We finally moved, and had a cleaning company clean after we moved everything out.
The owner and manager refused to do a walk through after several requests and told us to simply drop off the keys. We were told we'd have our deposit mailed to us after their maintenance crew looked the apartment over.
They ended up mailing us an invoice, keeping our deposite $675 and claimed we owed and extra $400.
Some of the listed reasons were indentations made in the carpet from where our couch was placed.
Don't live here! We never thought we were going to be swindled. We later found out they are all friends working there with the owner, and never give tenants their deposits.
