Just left the Livery after doing their 6 mile run in our personal kayaks... FABULOUS CREW took such great care of us and our kayaks! Most places transport with zero care of personal kayaks, I've never not been worried something would happen during transport, until today. We are forever fans and customers, no point in going anywhere else, Thank Yall !! ❤️

North out of Canal Fulton to Barberton nice 11.5 miles one way. Some serious elevation. Mix of crushed stone and black top. Very nicely constructed bridges. Active railroad runs parallel to the trail. Road crossings that you must be aware of. Some picnic areas and "johns" along the way. About 4mile mark is Clinton, nice a little town to explore.

Took my wife and daughter on a Monday morning when they opened. No one was at the livery accept for us. Upon walking to the admission window the lady was extremely rude and said she cannot let us on the river because we didn't have a reservation per their website. She made my daughter (5y/o) extremely upset and then proceeded to say she'll "let lt slide" as if she was playing a game.I had already looked over the website before arriving. The website states within the first FAQ "Reservations are STRONGLY suggested! Especially on weekends! You can be sure of having to wait without a prior reservation on weekends! However, WE DO NOT REQUIRE RESERVATIONS."We got on the river and escaped the lady, cool. Now we got the joy of being in a canoe with a hole in it. By the end of our trip our canoe was half filled with water and our legs soaked, awesome. We were instructed to call the livery when done and they would come to get us. We called, "they're on their way." They were not on their way. We were not picked up for another hour. We had the joy of sitting at the side of the river by a portapot for a whole time wasting hour. Funny thing was it took us about 7 minutes to get back to the livery once they actually picked us up!DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!

Great weekend adventure! Super clean river and surrounding areas! Also, bring cash for the many food truck/booths along the river! Friendly and helpful staff!

The kayaks consistently leak and the bike tires are flat. Other than that a totally mid experience.

We had a reservation for camping.Nice place right in town but still a country setting.Right on the river you can fish and kayak. The guy there that does all the work is super friendly. Nice guy hard worker. My only complaint like all other reviews is the lady and her rude comments. Only thing she says to my wife was that u were supposed to be here at 1 p.m. We got there around 5. Sorry we have jobs kids and driving from hour half away. And I've camped all over this country and have never ever had a campground say we needed to be there at a certain time to check in or throw a fit about you showing up anytime before closing. I was blown away by that. Should be thankful we are spending money at your place. Not like we showed up 5 min's before closing. Or were late to a kayak trip.We show up at 5p.m too set up our tent 2 hours before closing and get snarky comments. Unreal. Oh and our campsite had liquor bottles all over it.

Great wildlife - blue herons, muskrats, turtles, etc.No issues with reservation. The kayaks have definitely seen better days though - no pegs for feet, minimal back support, 1 of the kayaks was taking on water as the plug was missing and they were very dirty / muddy.

Kayaking was fun. We unfortunately chose the pedal back option. They forgot to bring bikes for us so that was a bit of a wait. Then the bikes they provide saw their best days in the early 90’s. My husband’s back tire was almost completely flat, so that made the ride super fun. Luckily there was an air pump 4 miles into a 6 mile ride, so he was able to air it up. Anyhow, never again.

Went canoeing and was going to go camping until i realized the camp sites were right next to the parking lot and wasn’t very “primitive”. So i decided to get a refund and the guy was cool about it but he only refunded 1 night even though i paid for 2. Now it’s apparently “too late” to get the other 30. Robbed me of my money but hey at least the canoeing was fine.

The lecture about making a reservation 24 hours in advance was completely unnecessary, considering no one was there. How about giving me the head line, instead of the Sunday edition.Had a good time, but didn't need the extra commentary.Make reservations, unless you want toung lashing...
