I have seen their TV commercials a lot lately and one of their things advertised is truck lifts. I am in the need to have one purchased and installed to keep my tires from rubbing on turns in my new truck. I am big on keeping my business local, so I have called the Medina location not once but twice now second time being today 9/22/23 and both times was told the truck lift guy would call me back. Neither time have I had anyone return a phone call to me interested in my business at all. I let them know on the second call that I had used them in the past before I moved the headquarters of my business south but now have brought it back to Ohio. What's the sense in television advertising if you really don't want the business??

These guys have always been fair and upfront with me. They know cars, and they treat their customers with respect. I've been using them for over a decade now, and I never go anywhere else.

Out of close to 15 different tire places to purchase rims and tires, we chose North Gateway. We had heard from numerous people how great they were. BIG MISTAKE! We spent over $2200 on new rims and tires. When we were in the process it f buying the service was quick and efficient!! It wasn't disclosed to us that for a rotation and balance it is on a first come first serve service so you better get there early!! No appointments are taken. I called and was told that there was no one waiting, so I rushed up there to get in early. I was the ONLY person in there! Yay right?!! NOPE! I left the key at 9:00 am and walked to get some breakfast. I was told about an hour. So I came back at 9:45. I sat and waited and sat and waited and waited. Still no one in there. Almost two hours later still waiting. I went to the desk numerous times and was told still working on it. RUN! Such terrible customer service. They do not value the customer!!

I guess all good things must come to an end, my relationship with this business has ended. I have been coming to North Gateway Tire for over 20 years. They used to be a stand-up business but, based on my recent visit, their customer service has deteriorated. The dude who waited on me was grumpy and rude. After I waited for 3 hours, they gave me an estimate of $1600 for front and rear brakes on a Mazda CX7 (pads, rotors & calipers). I was shocked & couldn't believe they were trying to soak me. I did not get the work done there. Very disappointing.

Tire Rotation at no charge today removed studded snow tires mounted to rim’s installed all season radials I bought just before winter season. Coming here Saves the trouble of manually jacking up my old work truck installing myself. Thank you guy’s!

I visited North Gateway recently because my niece was visiting from out of town and her car needed some new tires and some much needed maintenance. She was sliding all over the road during the recent winter storms. So I stopped at Walmart to buy her some floor mats, ArmorAll wipes, an ice scraper, windshield wash fluid, de-icer, wiper blades, and an engine air filter. While I was there, I called North Gateway to see if they could schedule a same-day tire appointment. Not only were they able to get me in the same day, they were able to get me in right then. So I checked out at Walmart and drove over to North Gateway. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted and they recognized the car I was driving based on our phone call. I asked them to replace the rear tires, install a lug nut on the front passenger side, change the oil, top off the fluids, install the wiper blades and air filter that I just bought, and perform a general inspection. They agreed to install my parts with no hassle. They took the car in immediately and began working on it. While sitting in the waiting room, there was a TV, a popcorn maker, coffee, and a separate room that you can work remotely in, if you need to. I watched Olympic bobsledding while the car was being worked on. They also vacuumed the street salt off of the carpets while I was there. This level of detail demonstrates that this is a family run business that cares about details. After 1.5 hours, they had completed all of the work. I was very happy that they worked so quickly and efficiently. The front wheel ended up needing a new stud plus a lug nut. So I was grateful that they were able to repair that. When I checked out, the price of the maintenance was lower than it should have been. I asked him about it and he just smiled graciously. It was evident that he had given me a discount due to my nieces circumstances. I thanked him and left. They went above and beyond to get this work done quickly and then gave me a discount on top of it. I now have the peace of mind knowing that my niece will be driving a safer car. That's how you make new customers and keep them. I will be visiting with my own vehicles in the future.

Excellent service! I had an issues with a tire and needed my tires done ASAP! They got me in within 20 minutes of a phone call and had me all done and ready to go in about an hour! Extremely impressed with their customer service! Fantastic experience and highly recommend them!

The Hill brothers and their colleagues run this business like every business should be run. They are fast, friendly, and efficient, and their prices are fair. They do everything possible to take care of customers--free coffee and popcorn, TV in waiting area, special play area for kids, and free transportation to your home and free pickup when the work is done. They are keenly aware that the success of their business depends entirely upon how well they take care of their customers, and the business is succeeding very well. There is no hard sell, and you can count on their honesty when they advise you whether you need new tires or any of the other services they offer. There are a few other places around that do not exactly take that approach. Strongly recommended. You will not find a better tire supplier or mechanical repair than North Gateway.

My husband and I frequent North Gateway Tire several times a year. I just wanted to mention my experience today. I went in because my tire was losing air every couple of days. I was prepared to buy a new tire if need be. David Graber had my Chevy Traverse looked at right away because I had my two little baby boys with me. Not only are they quick with service, they are all kind and compassionate. David has worked hard to get to the position he is in and I commend him for it. He definitely deserves his title at North Gateway tire. I hope to see him work his way up higher in the company because he is definitely very deserving. North Gateway has always been good to my family and I and we will continue coming to North Gateway as long as we are living locally. Thank you for servicing my tire today with a quickness and your generosity.

Last night we were having a problem with our pick-up.It was a little after 5pm.As always Jeff,Pat,Steve & Jim took time to have their mechanics take a look.It was closing time so truck spent the night.Before 9am this morning,Jim called and the truck was already done.North Gateway,we would recommend if you need car repair or tires try North Gateway.You will be glad you did.Thank you Jeff,Pat & all you crew!!

I called when I was leaving work, the got me in and out the door with 4 new tires for a great price in about an hours time. The guys were friendly. The place is clean. There are tv's to watch while you wait. Great experience for me.
