Dr. Palomar does an excellent job caring for our 4 dogs (3 of whom are frequent visitors to the vet)! She is always thorough and compassionate and has accommodated emergency visits more times than I can count. She also isn’t afraid to refer the dogs to specialists if she feels the issue is out of her scope of expertise. Highly recommend!

absolutely worst. we had brought in our dog who was struggling with cancer for the past year. they told us there was nothing they can do accept put her down. they made the process very quick and uncaring. handling her so horribly. right before they came in to put her down someone came in and was having me choose what urn i wanted?! as it’s not hard enough for us that we have to put her down they are having us make that decision right now? i just cannot express how horrible my experience is with that vet. they are horrible. if your smart i would recommend to never let your pet step foot in there. they have no care for the pets and only care about the money. Multiple bad experiences near the end of my pets life. very unprofessional. i cannot even put into words how uncaring they were. and extreme prices for what?

Dr. Martin has shown great understanding and support towards our rescue dog, who gets anxious during appointments. Both he and the assistants have been incredibly compassionate and helpful, making our visits to the vet a more pleasant experience.
We also take our rabbit to visit Dr. Palomar, who has been exceptional in caring for our rabbit and is very knowledgeable with small animals.
The staff is always helpful and welcoming. Thank you for ensuring that every visit is enjoyable!

Monthly pain injections have made all the difference in our dog acts like a puppy at times and no fighting to get her to take her pills! Thank you

I received such kind and compassionate care when I had to bring my sweet little hedgehog to be helped across the rainbow bridge. I truly appreciate how kind and gentle they were with her and highly recommend them.

We drove 2 hours to see Dr. Wilson because we trust her! Our pup is scheduled for surgery, and we are feeling positive about his recovery.

Couldn’t be happier coming here!
We have a rescue who came from multiple abusive situations and while he’s a sweetie at home, he gets very nervous being handled or around new people. The doctors, the staff, and the grooming team have all been so patient, so understanding, and leave us so confident about his care. It can be really embarrassing having a dog that has nervous tendencies, but I truly feel at ease here and know our sweet pup is the best hands possible.
Couldn’t recommend more!

Animal and Avian have been nothing but caring and compassionate with our pets. Dr. Palomar has taken excellent care of our old pit mix girl, Zoe, even helping with some hard decisions that ended up saving her life :) Dr. Kirby and some of the other Drs. we have seen helped our Angus over the rainbow bridge a couple of years ago and Dr. Kirby is now caring for our 2 year old golden pup, Bentley. The groomers are caring and the whole staff is very friendly and helpful whether it's in person or on the phone. I highly recommend them!

I have gone to Animal and Avian since the beginning. Dr Wilson is the best and I will never take my cats or dogs to anyone else. She is a wonderful diagnostician and has always treated me and my pets with respect and kindness. If you are looking for a compassionate vet for your pets this is the place to go.

Dr Wilson is amazing. She has always taken excellent care of my animals. The girls at the front desk are always so helpful. I can’t recommend Animal and Avian highly enough. I have been bringing my pets to Avian and Animal for almost 20 years. Everyone is very compassionate and carrying. You are always greeted as soon as you walk in the door. Scheduling and wait times are usually pretty fast. If you have to cancel for any reason you usually get a call back to reschedule. I highly recommend this clinic.

Love this place !!! Started by taking my birds here . I now take my dogs here also . Staff is great with all my animals. Nice waiting room . Get you to a room fast . Easy access from parking lot . Always answer my questions. Was worried but they handled my old and sometimes nasty bird beautifully. Thought he would be biting them and flapping everywhere . But he was very relaxed and calm with them . And very loving to my dogs .

Took my cat in because she is loosing weight, after a very expensive 5 minute visit with no answers or suggestions, she is still loosing weight. My questions were not answered.
