Phenomenal service, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff. I had eight tons of heavy workshop equipment shipped across the country with Craters & Freighters Cleveland, and the staff were more than accommodating every step of the way. Patti, Renee, and the guys on the floor are all excellent. My equipment arrived well packaged, on time, and at a very reasonable rate for the quality of service rendered. I would whole-heartedly recommend C&F Cleveland.

Unbelievable service. Renee was the best. The crate was a work of art in itself. Both artists, we have been shipping our works of art all our career and this was the first time we had something shipped to ourselves across country. From the first call to the uncrating in Seattle the Cleveland Craters and Freighters was 5 * service. I cannot believe that there would be anything better. Thank you.

She answered all my questions and worked hard to offer a high quality, cost effective solution. The craftsmanship was exceptional as well. They crated and shipped a custom made family heirloom crib. It was meticulously packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend them!

Good news: whatever actually arrived, arrived undamaged.Bad news: More than one third of our shipment never arrived at the destination. They had no explanation for this loss.And the contract was for them to professionally repack each item. They said they only repacked some.Never again.

I have utilized C&F 2X over the past year. Both times, shipping a antique safe and antique ice box from Cleveland to AZ. Renee and Patti have been incredibly responsive and set up the pick-up, crating, boxing and shipping with excellent results. By the way- the crating/boxing of both items was superb; If anything, overpacked to prevent any damage. I highly recommend their service.

I just called their Tempe, Arizona office for enquiries about shipping my things to Ohio and the lady was so rude. I am still looking for a company to ship my things but I don't think this is one I will like to work with. I am a customer service personnel and I know how it works so just let whoever it is know that she should be nice to her customers. Just let her know that you just lost about 30 potential customers because all my friends are moving and we could have used your service. Word of mouth is very necessary. Thank you.

This review is for the Cleveland, Ohio location of Craters & Freighters.Our business is in Portland, Oregon and we purchased 26 pallets of hardware from an industrial auction in Cleveland, Ohio. Two days prior to the auction, I needed to locate a company that would be able to retrieve the merchandise, repackage it, and prepare it for shipment to Portland. A simple Google search brought up Craters & Freighters and Patti Hrabik turned out to be a savior. Prior to the auction, she provided a rough cost estimate for retrieving, packaging, and shipping based on photos and weight approximations from the auction company. Communication from the beginning was prompt and concise. After winning the auction, the pallets were in such bad shape that Patti had to send a team into the auction site to prepare the pallets for return to the Craters & Freighters facility. They then retrieved pallets before a time deadline and consolidated them down from 26 pallets to 11 pallets and prepared them for shipment to Portland. Pricing was more than reasonable.In this day and age when it is challenging to find any company that understands customer service, Craters and Freighter in Cleveland is a breath of fresh air. Patti runs a fantastic operation. I would highly recommend them.

Craters and Freighters picked up my brand new very, very heavy sofa and chair and shipped them both all the way across the country to my home in Washington state. When they arrived here after opening them - which took hours because they were so well packed, I discovered that my furniture arrived in absolutely flawless condition. The pallet for the sofa was made specifically for the sofa and was so heavy and so wonderfully made, even the help I hired to move it into my house were impressed. The furniture was wrapped in tons of bubble wrap and shrink wrap, even the feet were protected. All during the process, Renee kept me very well informed about what was happening to my furniture. The constant updates were very helpful. I can not recommend this company enough!

I had them ship a large art piece from Cleveland to the Washington DC area (I handled all this from Dallas, where my art gallery is located). Art handlers wanted a $1,000 and several weeks of time. Crater & Freighters did it in just a few days at half the cost. They were easy to work with and quite efficient!

I hired these guys to move 20 critical servers between data centers. They showed up on time, took incredible care with our equipment, added additional padding were needed without being asked and were just very pleasant guys to work with. We will be using them in the future as we migrate equipment over. Extremely pleased with the care they took and their professionalism.
