Good medical care

The phlebotomist in the lab lacked professionalism. As well as the front desk in the urgent care system. I’ve been going to UH for years. I will not be coming back to this location, even though it’s closest to my house.

Worst ever. 10 mins late because of terrible signs on the campus and no help with directions inside. Then punished with “maybe we will be able to take you. You are welcome to wait and we’ll see”. Clearly they were already behind with imaging because the person ahead of me had to wait 15 mins. Poor, poor patient service. 10 mins, give me a break.

Absolutely the WORST EVER! LIAR, CARELESS with your PERSONAL information enough to not KNOW how they handle and MISPLACE it and a SCAMMER! Should be getting ZERO stars. He and his staff are the WORSE combination ever. First THEY will call you to setup multiple appointments for something that could be handled over the phone in one call so they can get as much money as possible out of you... then they will CARELESSLY LOOSE your PERSONAL information and the LIE TO YOUR FACE ABOUT ALL OF IT!!! He and his staff need to be PROSECUTED and that is EXACTLY what I am working on!Working on BBB, Medical Board and a few other relevant organizations to make sure other people don't keep getting scammed!

I went to the UH Broadview Heights Hospital because I had an appointment with my neurologist. The Hospital I would guess is a new facility or one that has undergone an extensive facelift but I was impressed with the Hospitals appearance. My neurologist say I need more testing which I will do to find out what is wrong. Dr.Garret is a very caring neurologist.

I’ve never been treated so poorly at a healthcare facility before. I called ahead to ask if they did sports physicals, as my son needed one for school. I was told yes, and upon arrival the lady who received us was super rude on top of telling me that they only take cash for sports physicals in the amount of $50, of which I was more than $20 short due to the fact that I was not told this over the phone. They would not perform his physical until they had the money because I had asked if they could do the physical while I went to withdraw the rest of the money and was told no, making me miss a second appointment I had scheduled on that day. Not even a month later, my son & I return to ask the doctor who did his sports physical to sign off on his work permit. We were told she would be in on Friday of that week & to come back then. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED if it was something she could do, as I didn’t want to waste my time like the first time. The young lady at the desk said yes. I return to this location, yet again, and waited for 15 minutes while this doctor signed off and then WHITED OUT her signature on my sons work permit, stating that she did a sports physical, not a regular physical, & he’d have to have another one done for the permit. WHY WASN’T THIS TOLD TO ME THE FIRST TWO TIMES I WENT FOR THIS PURPOSE??? I was inconvenienced several times, without apology, & still did not receive the care we were looking for. If I performed my job as inadequately as these people, I would be fired. Their extreme lack of common decency is appalling.

Had an appointment in orthopedics...NO ONE told us we would be sharing a waiting room with urgent care patients. INCLUDING those being tested for Covid-19 & having active symptoms. Beyond ignorant.

I needed a Blood Test and had to wait a long time for someone to take me. The woman ahead of me said that she arrived at 1:05 pm because their lunch hour was from Noon to 1pm. No one came to the desk until 1:25pm to process her request. I was taken in about 1:35pm. Had an appointment with Dr. Taylor at 1:40pm - which I just made into his office at 1:39pm - I saw him immediately. What is wrong with the employees in the Lab - this has happened before.

Great experience, they are like the chick fil a of customer care compared to our other healthcare option in town.

Would not recommend taking your child to this lab, very unprofessional and rude. I don’t believe they know how to handle babies what so ever. One lady had her headphones in watching something on their phone, and when approached at the front desk and seemed entirely irritated. Will not be back there.

There for COVID-19 testing prior to surgery two days later. Testing started 50 minutes late with several people standing outside waiting.

They charged me $1100 for an ankle sprain X-ray. Go to CC and save yourself some $$$. That was after insurance btw.

I cut my arm really bad and took myself to the ER across 77 as a Brecksville resident. When I arrived I was the only car in the lot. I was admitted and a half hour I was given X-rays. Then a half hour later someone came in to tell me I was getting an EKG and blood tests. FOR AN HOUR AT NO POINT DID THEY ATTEMPT TO CLEAN OR COVER MY WOUND. So I left and went to University Hospital on the other side of 77. Where again I was the only car in the parking lot. AS SOON AS I CAME IN THE DOOR THE LADY BEHIND THE DESK POPPED UP AND WRAPPED MY ARM IN STERILE GAUZE AND CLEANED WITHIN 15 minutes of arrival. Stitches and out 60 minutes later. Unfortunately as a Brecksville resident I will continue with UH (Broadview Heights taxpayer) for all of my own or my employees emergencies. Dr. Quinn “Medicine Women” and Nurse Jackie (ironic and true) left me with minimal scarring and absolutely no infections as I feared at the other ER.
