Purchased what was advertised as a "New" Atlas locomotive from their Ebay store for $379 plus shipping. Sent the locomotive to Atlas Service Department when it arrived because it didn't run very well. Atlas was able to determine that the locomotive had been run for 75 hours. TK Hobby insists that the locomotive arrived at their store from Atlas (New) with 75 hours on it. Atlas says there is no way that this could have happened. TK Hobby had the locomotive at the store for 23 months before I purchased it (info from Atlas.) I GOT TAKEN! STAY AWAY! TK HOBBY HAS NOT RESOLVED THE ISSUE. I PAID FOR A NEW LOCOMOTIVE AND GOT ONE THAT HAS BEEN RUN FOR 75 HOURS.

Selling trains listed as “new” when they in fact are used isn’t a good business model. Buyers beware, dishonest store!

Sold a NEW train with 75 hours on it?! Wow not cool at all. You need to make it right or you will suffer the consequences. The internet is a very powerful tool and can ruin a business overnight.
