“Had an oil change done on my Jeep at Valvoline in Austintown. Upon completing the oil change they informed me that my Jeep had a minor transmission leak and my oil pan was rusty. I called Redlich as my vehicle still being under warranty was covered and they had me bring it in for a road test. The mechanic who road tested the vehicle looked for leaks under it and looked under the hood. They informed me that my Jeep did not have one of the problem transmissions and the transmission was actually manufactured by Mercedes, that there is no leak and that the car would probably rust out before the transmission stopped working. Thanks for saving me time and hassle Redlich!”
“Back about 34 years ago I took my first car to them when the transmission went out. (78 Olds Cutlass - 350 turbo tran.) Rossler's rebuilt it and it was like new.”
“Fun! Loving guys jokes around makes you laughed but gets the job done. Quick easy. Great job friendly. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely go again. Not to mention the prices are amazing. So great service! Fun! Loving guys! Great price. It's a win-win!”
“Very nice and helpful place. Rousso knows what they are doing and they do good work. They try and give the best price and their knowledge of automotive transmissions and everything cars”
“My car wouldn’t start yesterday. After about five minutes it did start, but the battery saver light was on saying I had a very low battery. The Chevy dealer said they can get me in for service in about two weeks so I went to knuckle buster for the first time, No appointment and didn’t know what to expect. They said leave the car. They would call me when it’s done. There were a lot of other cars they were working on at the time. I got a phone call at about 4:15 and they said come and pick your car up, we are open until 5 o’clock. I couldn’t believe it; with no appointment! Very clean facility, fair price and very courteous staff. They’ve got my business in the future. I’ll be back.”
“Jeff and his team were great. We were traveling through Ohio on our way to a car show in Carlisle, PA in our 1980 Corvette and we ended up having a problem. The brakes failed and the brake pedal went to the floor. We found Schultz's garage through a Google search and had the car towed to his shop. Jeff got us back on the road within a day by finding and fixing the brake problem. It was a pin hole in a brake line causing air th get into the line. A keen eye found the leak. A new, fabricated brake line fixed the problem and we were back on the road. He could have overcharged us, but he was very reasonably priced.”
“My daughter is a student at YSU and was having an issue with her car, being far from home it's hard knowing what businesses you can trust sending your child to! Orlando was incredibly helpful, made my daughter feel comfortable and made sure we both had all of the information we needed to make an informed decision. We will without a doubt be back if another issue occurs!”
“The Youngstown Community Center suggests this shop over all the big companies. Lou is very patient. When he says he will get er done. He delivers He also works with you financially too!!!”
“My car started smelling of antifreeze and was slightly overheating, just going a little past the normal 200 degree mark. Brought my car down to Mike's to have it looked at and fixed. He even accepted my extended warranty coverage. He told me they were super busy but no matter what he would look it over the following day and let me know what they found. He did a few tests and although he could smell the antifreeze and see it go past where it should, all testing came back fine. So he dug even deeper for me.
Without finding an issue he couldn't claim the warranty for me, but he did however actually find the issue and advised me to take it to a true Mazda dealer to have them verify and fix it. He also gave me a great price on looking at it for hours and doing a couple minor things I also wanted fixed.
I would definitely go back to him!”
“These guys were absolute heroes for me man. I was on a road trip to Milwaukee WI and along the way I got a check engine light which required some pretty big repairs. They not only accepted me as a walk in but also went the extra mile to bust their asses and get my car back on the road the same day. The parts weren't easy to find and it was a time crunch so they very easily could have just told me that I was going to have to find a hotel and leave my car there for the night. Yet, they went the extra mile to fit me in and take care of my car and have me safely back on the road the same day. The team busted their asses and did so with a smile on their face. They were absolute life savers and I cannot thank larry along with the rest of the AAMCO team at this location enough for their kindness and effort.”
