Their selection is very good quality. I'd be careful going there if you have allergies though. It feels like a dog park in there. They even let dogs in the shopping carts. Yuck. It feels like nowhere in public is free from dogs now. Not even a garden store

I want to clarify Petitti's return policy on shrubs. We had purchased 11 Arborvitae and one failed during the one year guarantee. The purchase price back then was $75 on sale, so we were credited that towards the purchase of another same shrub at todays price of $127 and had to pay the difference. This is Petitti's so called guarantee, beware.

Do yourself a favor, skip the big g companies like home Depot and Lowe's and shop here. Much healthier and happier plants. Beautifully big selection!

Im going to change my review about petitti‘s Garden Center in Boardman now even know the service from the employees are not up to standards in my eyes I Realized that it’s not all of the Employees it’s mostly only the ones on the main floor who just neglect the customers my second visit I went back to give it another try after having a bad experience and the second time I went I walked around the store for almost an hour and purposely placed myself around employees who seemed less busy and not one person asked if I found what I was looking for if I needed help finding what I was looking for Which is very sad because this is a beautiful garden center and it just seems like the employees don’t care. But wait a minute then I spoke up and asked one person if they could help me out with a grow light and knew nothing about the lights I was Asking about so they called I believe his name is Frank. I could be wrong. But you could just tell this man loved his job loved the plants. He knew everything that I was asking More. He taught me so much and that one conversation that we had he changed my mind on the entire store. He knew so much cool stuff and learning about plants and how they work intrigues me. So thanks Frank I appreciate all your helps and knowledge you so kindly passed down!

I bought some dahlias and a purple elephant ear at the boardman location this spring. Only 7 of the 12 dahlias I bought came up. Elephant ear didn't grow at all. I would suggest you purchase spring plantings else where if you want flowers as theirs just don't grow.
Up-date:
As you can see in response they asked I email them. I did and that was it, no response. Take their interest with a grain of salt.

I wanted to take a moment to compliment the store that is in Youngstown. The facility is beautiful and run so meticulously. The sales associate Lisa is always friendly and greets the customers as they enter into the store. This customer service is important to me and always encouraging. Which makes me glad I chose Petitti’s for my plant projects. Diana Davis does a great job as to run this store and for myself very grateful.

What is there to say? An excellent local nursery and garden center. The selection is fantastic, with popular choices and a few interesting and unusual specimens.
The houseplants are great, and the employees are unusually friendly (!) and knowledgeable. I give them a lot of credit.
It's possible to be out on a waiting/call list if you need something in particular.
They stock plants aplenty, pots (and nice ones), bird seed, fertilizer, outdoor trees and shrubs, et cetera, et cetera.
Prices are a little high, but that's honestly to be expected as a trade-off on the quality and shopping more local. I'll try to support local first.
Sometimes I just go to walk around with my baby and let him enjoy the verdant surroundings. Go treat yourself to a stroll, and don't be afraid to ask questions. You might just come home with something nice at Petitti.
