The two black females there have horrible attitudes. They told me I could fill the tank up myself or they would when I turned the vehicle in. The tank was on half when they gave it to me. They tried telling me it was on a full tank and I had to return it on full. The day I went to turn the vehicle in they stated there was another SUV they had ready for me, however when I arrived there wasn’t an suv ! They put me in a car. There’s so many more issues but I’m sure you get the point. I will be calling corporate as well. Horrible horrible experience!!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would. Very incompetent…

Can't get past the automated phone system. Put on hold, told 10 minute wait, 40 minutes later.... Website has no simplicity or ease of use. How do businesses stay afloat? What ashamed!

Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Made my car rental progress very easy and quick. I was able to pick my car and had no issues the entire time. Office was also very clean!
I see a lot of complaints about pet hair in the reviews however, as a pet owner myself, I would hate to enter a car after someone who just had to have their pet in the car. What if my son has allergies to dogs/cats? And most rental cars have fabric seats. Who would want to have to struggle to vacuum out a car that was never given to them in that condition. I’ve rented at this location multiple times. I’ve seen the level of clientele that come through the doors and it’s disturbing that people think it’s okay to walk around covered in pet hair and then complain because they get it all over a car and are held responsible. Some things should be common sense and decency.
The ladies at this location work diligently and tremendously hard to provide the Public with amazing customer service. How about showing them some grace instead of complaining because you’re grown and too lazy to clean up after yourself!

I would give it a minus starts if I can. THEY ARE UNPROFFESIONAL, COLD,and INCOMPETENT. I am surprised that they still have jobs. It is ruining Hetz reputation!
I have been renting from this location for two years with full coverage. I always ask if I am covered, and they always say yes. But I found out that I was not after the accident, so I had to pay through my personal insurance. Previous to this accident, I had broken a side mirror, and they told me I was good to go. Nothing to pay, but I got a phone call today saying I ow them close to $500.
If they had only told me they i am not covered the first time, I wouldn't have to go through my insurance.
Talk about incompetence!!! Go to the one in Warren. They will take care of you and see a nice smile.

I normally rent from Hertz but I rent with Serena who was out becsuse of ger daughter being sick accordingto the manager (Does HIPPA not count here). The manager had really short hair and light eyes had her daughter was there when I came to return the car. I was a few minutes late but when I reserved the car they advised me to just have it back before the end of the day. This was repeated to me maybe two or three times and was said to me in front of the manager.So ideally I was sitting outside waiting for a ride when the "manager" felt the need to tell me to have the car back the same time I picked it up. I reminded her that as a repeat customer that is normally the case but had a conversation at the time of reservation. She repeated herself about having the car there at the time that it was reserved. I kindly took my gift cards and Crumbl cookies and gave them to people who appreciated my business much more.Don't let people like her manage your stores you wouldn't get such terrible reviews! Not to mention she makes personal calls while on the clock. Wishing someone happy birthday and gossiping ans cursing is not what you should get paid to do!Treat people how you want to be treated!

Booked a rental only to get there and they tell me they have no cars to book. I would have to upgrade and pay more money with no compensation. Then told me to call a 800 number to cancel instead of just canceling while I was there. Sat on the phone for 20 min just to talk to someone. 2 thumbs down.

Car worked, was way overpriced, but that's everything these days. Reason for two stars is that they wanted to threaten to charge us a $200 detailing fee due to pet hair that transferred off our clothes (and I'll try to forgive that the worker immediately accused us of having pets in the car then rolled her eyes like I was a liar when I said we didn't - I loathe being called a liar and as someone who works in customer service I know better but I'll just assume she didn't). Had to drive the car and vacuum it out myself which leads me to believe that they don't clean the cars between use which feels like a safety issue and is my reason for two stars. Wish I would have taken pictures but I was kind of still heated after being assumed a liar. Yes there was some pet hair. But if I was able to clean it out easily with a vacuum I don't understand why it was an issue for them.Tldr; two stars because if you have pets and you use a rental here you could possibly face huge detailing fees and because the minimal work for removal makes me believe they don't clean cars between rentals.

Car was okay, but there was a $200 detailing fee for some pet hair that we had on our clothes that got on the seats.Manager was able to work it out for us in the end.

Great prices and staff was more than helpful and friendly. Don’t rent too often in my home area but if I do it will definitely be from them.
